Even after the coach said they were eliminated!

How exciting for them!

Jetsies play cinci at home, I believe.

Not sure who we want to play but Jetsies, you'd think we'd have their number.

Orton eviscerated us, but maybe we'll play better at home?

Pittsburgh is always tough but this year not so much.

Ravens are also very physical and played us close.

Also I think it's a mistake for the coltsies to shut it off and basically give up in this game. It might be hard to turn it back on. Winning is a habit-o.

Let them win today first.
The way this year is going the Bengals can beat them next week. there are no gimme's

If they make it, they'll be a pretty hot team.

And yeah, for all we know w/o checking the tiebreaks, they could beat Cincy to get in and then play them the next week.

If they do, the Pats would likely face them at home in the first round, then San Diego in the second round on the road. Then Indy in the AFC Championship on the road.

Wow, that's the exact same path as 2006.

they won't beat Cinci

They'll beat the back-up Cinci tho.

exactly... The jets will make the playoffs because two teams threw their games to rest players as I expect Cinci to rest most of their players

The Jets did not score an offensive TD 'till midway through the fourth against Indy's second and third stringers.

Indy won't make it past their first playoff game. They have effectively killed their mojo. Never rest, and piss off, your players unless you have a healthy lead. Stupid.

If the Broncos win this game, it's Jets at Patriots for round 1.

Cincy is not beating the Jets next week.

If the Broncos lose, then the Jets will actually be the #5 seed.

cincinnatti will be playing for the 3rd seed. they won't rest anyone. if that means getting one possible extra home game, then I don't see them resting at all. Plus they almost beat SD in week 15, so they are comfortable beating Baltimore or Denver in round 1 and having to go to SD in the Divisional Round.

So if the Jets beat Cinci, no matter what happens in our game, the Jets and Cinci will play again in the first week of the playoffs, right?

Yes. This is true. The Jets would be the #5 seed. Cincy would be #4.

Our game against Houston is irrelevant.

Oddly though, if Oakland beats Baltimore, we would face Houston in the playoffs.

By winning, they could face the Steelers. By losing, they get the Jets.

I'm dumbfounded that these scrub teams are going to get in at 9-7, but 11-5 wasn't enough last year.

Maybe so but the Jets just won 2 Super Bowls in one season.

interesting

that must be how some people are calling the Colts the team of the decade

=============================================
I think the Pats were an all around better team last year in many ways then they are this year, last year they miss the playoffs, this year with only 1 road win, they win the AFCE.

Kinda of a any given Sunday deal.

The team we don't want to face is the Titans! Not for another say 10 years.

Cinci gets to play its scrubs against the jets and then play them for real the next week.

The amazing thing to me is that their coach gave up on them last week.
