The Colts next two opponents are the Jets (7-7) and Buffalo Bills (5-9). Strangely enough they play against all 4 AFCE teams this year! It's almost like they're in our division! Sheesh. Anyways these games are all quite winnable. Unless Rex Ryan pulls off some voodoo magic with his defense to pressure Manning, it looks like the Colts could roll to 16-0. I don't even give the Bills a snowball's chance.

So 16-0 seems likely. But how about 19-0? Those playoff games are a lot tougher, making them run the gauntlet and probably face the Saints in the Superbowl. Who wins in a shootout? I think this year, the Saints offense would win. What would be more satisfying though, to see the Colts go 16-0 and then 18-1 or to see them eliminated early in the playoffs? Anyways make your guesses in the poll!

Bills have a chance. Manning and Wayne will sit, or play a quarter, according to some sources a week ago.

There may go 16-0 but i really doubt they win it all. Of course the way the refs all they're games i deffinetley could be wrong.

15-1

Or, 16-1 by losing to us in the Division round.

Well I almost forgot that they do get a first round bye. So that increases their chances of winning it all, much as I hate to admit it.

their only super bowl was won when they played 4 post season weeks. they do not have a good bye week comeback record over the last decade.

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

Jest and Jills are so bad that they can rest their starters for part of each game and still win them both. Don't forget the Colts play at home this weekend.

If Rexy is smart he will blitz like heck for the 1st quarter, take a roughing the passer call until Caldwell wises up and pulls him. Then they have a shot. But will he be smart enough?

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

the Colts will be up for consideration for team of the decade along with the Pats when this year is through. They have the most wins this decade but only 1 SB. If they win a second by going 19-0 they will be sentimental favorites by writers. I don't agree with it but the media is infatuated with Manning and loved Dungy when he was at the helm.

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

16-0 = probably

19-0 = no

Chargers are a much better team. I also think NO or MINN could handle them

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

they will proabably go 16-0 but will most likely lose to the Chargers, they have a beast of a team.

I think NO and MINN would both destroy them, let's face it. The NFC is better for a year. The better question is, can the Colts not go 18-1?

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

I maybe wrong but they have most regular season wins this decade, but don't that Pats have most wins, once you include the postseason?

Re: OT: Will the Colts go 16-0, How about 19-0

Why not. As long as they bring their zebras with them to make make their x-ray vision and phantom PI calls.

Yes, the Pats have more wins when you count playoffs (which you should). But that could change by season's end.

As for the thread topic, I believe they'll go 16-0. The Jets could play them tough, but I see them losing. The Bills have very little chance, even if the Colts starters rest. I believe the Bills are starting Brian Brohm so I doubt they'll have much going for them on the offensive side of the ball.

However, I don't think the Colts will go all the way. Their poor history in the playoffs gives me little reason to believe they'll win it all. Honestly, even if I were a Colts fan I would be skeptical of their chances.

Tough question. If Peyton and the starters play three quarters today, no way the Jets beat them. If not...who knows?

So, I voted 16--0 but not 19--0, BUT, then...

...just for the fun of it I checked the long term weather forecast for Buffalo next Sunday.

We all know that predicting this afternoon's weather is risky, let alone a week out, but here's what it shows.

80% chance of snow, starting Saturday night and continuing into Monday.

Game day forecast is 80% chance of Snow, High of 20 with 15 MPH winds.

We all know how well Peyton plays in the cold and snow, so, under those circumstances, I see no way they would risk him or the other starters.

The game will be the Bills' "Super Bowl" and "Snow Bowl" rolled into one. Assuming the Colts handle Wrecks and the Sanchize today and assuming that the Bills get their butts handed to them in Atlanta today, a 5--10 team will be playing for its own little place in history, in the wind and snow at home next Sunday. TO might even break out the popcorn!

Because the Colts have now taken the record for consecutive regular season wins from the Patriots, I really, really hope they don't finish the season 16-0. GO JETS! It would be even better if they lose to both the Jets and the Bills (though I doubt that will happen).

I doubt they will go 16-0. I have a feeling about the Jets doing something to them

Good post, vuudu.. Did you get this feeling after you saw the final score of the Colts game? Posting after the game is over doesn't really count as a feeling, does it?

Yes. It was a joke. Did not think it necessary to add a smilie. :)

I love voting in polls in which I already know the outcome. It's great to see Peyton p*ssed at his coach and his coach looking like Eric Fredo Mangini at the end of an embarrassing loss at home. Things will realy have a chance to fester during the bye week!
