I honestly don't think anything stops this team from winning it all. We are peaking at the right time. Not a single team scares me. We have this going away.

LOL, when did we start peaking? 2games b4 the playoffs?

getting hot at the right time is like 5 or 6 game winning streaks

we played a good game, we have not shows that constistency all season, well see

however, SD is playing better then us lately, and for a longer period of time

I like the optimism, but the Jags were a terrible football team. They'll be playing much tougher competition in the playoffs.

Put down the booze and take a nap

This team just beat another team that is NOT going to the playoffs.

When this team beats a team with a solid record then call me

The Division win is great and we all feel good right now about making the playoffs but lets face it,this team has not proven one gosh damn thing yet when it comes to beating a team going to the playoffs...we haven't beaten any all year.

If the Pats can continueplaying like they did today, they have a legitimate shot at a Super Bowl. But there are several teams entering the playoffs peaking right now including the Chargers and Eagles. There are no guarantees here.

Besides,The Jags run defense has sucked most of the year,Indy and SD have done pretty well in that Dept.

I wouldn't say the Jags are terrible. They are average. They just aren't as good as the teams the Pats will face in the playoffs.

man does this board love to be negative.
The facts are this they have only been dominated in one of the losses this year. They should have beaten the Colts. If this is the Pats team that keeps playing in the playoff then nothing can stop them.
And yes this is the Pats team that will be there i think

Interesting that the Chargers scare more preople than the Colts. I too agree. We play like we did today and we go to Indy and shellac em. Hang 45 on em easy

Face it. This game was just a positive step in the right direction.

I'm happy to simply see that right now.

Remember, playoff games are one and done for any team, even the Colts and Chargers.

So are the Saints a lock to NOT make the Super Bowl based on 2 losses in a row?

I doubt it

Obvious they peaked in the Monday night game against the Pats when probably not even the '85 Bears could have beat them.

Indy? They're average at defending the run, at best.

I love how we win this game and the negative nancies all of a sudden start moaning about how the Jags are "terrible" and "aren't going to the playoffs." before this game, everyone was worried that they could beat us. Second, they aren't going to the playoffs because WE knocked them out of contention. And Jacksonville should have beaten Indy last week, a team we would surely agree isn't terrible.

I'm not declaring us champions, but the fans of this team are pathetic.

Actually, the Jacksonville rushing defense has been pretty good -- 2nd in DVOA particularly -- it's their pass defense that's been awful.

A nice 3 game win streak but I don't think the Super Bowl is a lock. Still a long way to go.

It was a nice win. Lots of positives all-around.

Lets keep in perspective though.

I try and not be so negative after such a great day for the team but seriously....We are 1-5 on the road in the USA only beating a team with 9 losses going on 10 next week.

How does this team go back on the road and have to possibly win at SD and then at Indy is beyond me when they haven't proven they can do it yet.

We will need some upsets along the way from Indy's opponent to get to the SB IMO and that involves having the AFCCG held in Gillette,Otherwise its a HUGE hurdle to get to Miami.

To me a great season and realistic expectations for any true fan is just making the playoffs...a dream season is winning it all so at least we have had a great season thus far.

They don't need to prove anything. All they have to do is win one game at a time.

There's no such thing as a lock, see 2007. I like our chances as much as Indy or SD, but a SB or even an AFC Championship win are still unlikely simply because of probability. The best team doesn't always win the tournament, and really more often than not it doesn't.
