who was it?

what about carolina? they beat a one-loss vikings team? and now whooped the giants when they played good....

I liked this win alot, good smashmouth football. The Jags had what, 2 real possessions in the entire 2nd half? Success on the ground and dominating the clock, that's playoff football.

this is getting ridiculous

the team sucks, and its not b/c of talent

the problems seem to be with motivation, chemistry, and effort

BB cant seem to fix shi*t, he seems to have lost control of this team

its time for something drastic to happen

the Fans need to let the players know that this type of crap wont cut it anymore, next home game, the fans should BOO this team from beginning to end, no matter what, just make it louder than ANYTHING else in that stadium, make the players feel it

ive ran out of other ideas.....there doesnt seem to be much of anything else thats working

I really hope this is a joke.

right on as usual Kontra...this is a team that just doesn't know how to win...they never should have let Matt go...maybe Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow can come here together next year and fix this godawful mess....it's time to clean house!

when these guys host that playoff team, i agree, the fans should really let them have it...

lol, maybe someone heard me and did it

no more scoreless 12 and a half minute drives to kill the other team's chances...just stop it...we are really bad right now

to answer the question...

absolutely...both sides of the ball...two halves...coming at the perfect time of year...keep the old pedal to the metal next week for at least a half...go into the playoffs with momentum and it doesn't matter whom we play...

it started in the second half last week...

Today's win was the most complete game this team has played all season. And against a respectable albeit not great team.

I said yesterday the most important thing to me was to see this team play well these last two games going into the playoffs. Today was huge in my mind. Now I'm just hoping for some carry over.

Houston will be a tough game next week and I think it's vitally important this team puts together another solid 60 minutes in a road game to finish the season. Injuries aside, I would not be a big fan of seeing a lot of starters sit next week.

Best win of the year by far. I think a big thing is the play of Moss today. After all the "quitting on plays", etc, etc, getting those 3 TD's might increase the double teams, leaving space for Welker, Edelmen, Aiken, etc to make some plays.

This was a great win today. We played solid on defense for the first time in awhile, and our O is showing the sort of promise I expected at the beginning of the year. If the Pats are healthy, I think they have pretty good odds in the postseason, and the sort of focus and discipline they showed today is championship level football, IMHO.

What will Dennis and Callahan have to biatch about tomorrow? They might as well cancel their show.

LMAO...the one good thing about having moved to NC from NH is I don't have to listen to those two idiots any more. Of course here sports talk radio is all college all the time but it beats listening to those morons.

I really hope this is a joke.

Being that I wasn't the one that actually posted that beauty, yes it is. And yes, this was the most complete game of the season. If we want to keep the #3 seed, we're going to have to play the starters next week against the Texans. We should be able to see if this game was just an aberration or not.

Why would we want the 3rd seed?

Why would we want the 3rd seed?

Because the third seed gives us a better chance at hosting the AFCCG than the fourth seed does.

Not that either gives us a great chance at it.

As a 3rd seed, you would host the 4,5 and 6th seeds.

As a 4th seed, you would host the 5th and 6th seeds.

Besides matchups as an advantage, what am I missing?

Why wouldn't we?

I'm kind of thinking I'd rather play the Colts coming off four weeks of meaningless football than the red hot Chargers. Honestly though, I don't really care. For the ultimate prize we have to go through everyone anyway.

Exactly. 910
