When asked by of the hosts what LT he finds the most challenging to face, his reply was (i'm paraphrasing here) "It used to be J Odgen but in the past few years its not one on one but schemes.. He said the Matt Light and the pats are the most difficult..

Just wanted to pass this along..

This can't be true. Everyone knows that Matt Light sucks.

Everyone also knows Matt Light has historically shut down Freeney. It's always Mathis who gives the Pats problems.

Everyone also knows it's Jason Taylor and Aaron Schobel (who said today he might retire...) who give Light the most problems.

It is sad that one of the best DEs in the game respects Light far more than most of the people on this board.

Is it respect or irrational fear? Light plays better against Freeney than he does against anyone else.

I'll feel alot happier if we match-up with the Colts again if we have Light at LT and Vollmer at RT.

Light has been playing like a HOFer ever since coming back from injury,

Vollmer put a scare into him.

I don't disagree with this. Light played ok before his injury, but hes been simply outstanding since coming back.

Either way, he must know that the writing is on the wall...

So, he was dogging it before that? You think maybe it's because he's healthier now?

If Light leaves think about it ,Manning now has a avg LT and the guy who was drafted at 31 played good for a year and colts thought they are all set till in the 2nd year he started to regress and now a UDFA avg LT is ahead of him

I will not be suprised if the colts sign light.even if he gives them 3 yrs it will be huge.

I don't but I do think 5 games off at 32 years old in the middle on an NFL can certainly help one feel a bit rejuvinated and fresher than other players.

Just to reconfirm what I said.. He didn't say LIght was the best LT he faces.. But Light and the pats scheme is the best.. Scheme meaning chipping of the backs or TE's..

Thank the Lord Aaron Schobel doesn't play for Dolts....

Sad, but more important.

I'm sure Reiss has contributed on more than one occasion as well.
