I'll start...I was reading a thread on their board about how to stop the pats passing game, and someone said this.

"If we let Brady sit in the pocket and eat a sandwich like in 2007.....WE LOSE. "

I thought that was funny, actually picturing him standing their eating a sandwich while waiting to throw the ball.

They only have 14 sacks for the year so it looks like Brady will have some time back there. He should be able to pick them apart. A win to clinch the division and and an untouched Brady would be nice.

Gonna take more than 20-points to beat this team. Tough running game. Garrard looked very good against the Colts D. Hopefully both the Pats O and D show up this Sunday.

I do.

The NFL should never have given that city a franchise.

Brady should have plenty of time, even if takes seven blockers, including two tight ends or a tight end and a running back, to give Brady the time. That still gives Brady plenty of targets.

For Brady

TARGETS plus TIME = TOUCHDOWNS

I think our weakness for this game is run defense, especially with Wilfork and Warren dinged up.

My bottom line is that we are better than the jags and should win. It is time to take care of business.

Idk, but I'm going back to NE to visit my family and they got tix for me ~50yd line, ~16 rows up.
Woohoo! First ever Pats game!

Nobody should be looking at how they did against the Colts. The Jags always give the Colts a rough time, no matter how good the Colts are or how bad the Jags are. The Jags are to the Colts what the Dolphins are to us. We should be able to win this game easily. Garrard played out of his mind this past week, but he doesn't do it on a weekly basis. Contain the human bowling ball and we should win.

Game Plan seems pretty simple to me Shut Down Simms-Walker and the Run game and we win easily take care of one of the 2 and we should win but not as easy and if we take care of neither we likely will lose.

Why are talking about the Jags when we have so many topics that haven't even been discussed:

4th and 2

Moss quitting

Maroney dancing

Merriweather sucking

The TB's were gods.
Why do all the "M" players cause problems?

Let's just say the Colts defense really sucks.

Honestly I'm a bit worried about MJD and even Garrard. Garrard played really well against us in the '07 game, and if Warren/Wilfork are still hurt MJD is a tough matchup. Will be a much tougher time for our defense than the last 2 weeks, hope they are up to it.

On offense, matchup wise I feel more confident but as we've seen throughout the year that doesn't translate to a struggle free game. The Jags defense has looked extremely vulnerable of late and Del Rio just called out Reggie Nelson after that Colts game. They have major issues. This is the week barring major weather elements our offense needs to dominate.

Early forecast is calling for sun, which is fine. The Jags have historically been a decent foul weather team. Stopping MJD is the key, but he's been slowing down a bit of late, so we can only hope that continues and that he doesn't break out against the Pats this week.

Stopping Marcedes Lewis will be important also. Take away the run game, the TE option, and put double coverage on Sims-Walker. It might leave some holes open for their 2nd and 3rd WR options, but I think you'd want to those guys to be the ones to have to beat you rather than MJD, S-W, and Lewis.

frankly its time the offense gets the **** going after scoring 21,20 and 17 points in the last 3 weeks.

I don't see this game being a passing frenzy for the Pats,Brady could have stats much like last week against the Bills.

I see Maroney,Faulk,Morris and hopefully Taylor pounding the rock much of this game,if O'Brien does not find a way to mess with success which lately has been running the ball.

The Jags will likely do the same with MJD

Another 17-10 finish is a definate possibility

If Brady were to be eating a sandwich in the pocket, what kind do you think it would be?
