Many have said this is like a defensive version of the Wildcat offense.

This name would seem to fit.

for most of this season, it could have been called the ivisiable men:D

The "It is what it isn't" Defense?

I like WildPat. According to Jacksonville's Garrard it's generically known around the league as the Amoeba defense.

"WildAmoeba" doesn't quite have the same je ne sais quoi, does it?

I like the name "mooing cow" I am tired of everything new being called "wildsomething" or a a better one is the east coast defense

It was a bizarro alignment - not that BB hasn't used similar LB heavy sets before...

I wonder how many more times we'll see it - or if it was just a "we're low on DL and we're playing a young unproven QB" type-thing.

I'd rather the

"Wild Bill Defense"

Cobra Kai Defense....No mercy.

Same here. Miami already uses the "Wild Pat" when Pat White is in.

I know.....how about.....

'Hey, we can finally stop a pass play........once in a while'

It's not something Bill hasn't incorporated before.....and no offense but this defense does not deserve a nickname. The defensive backfield is poor, the pass rush (exception:tbc) is poor. Don't let a win against Bufallo fool you.

defensive backfield is poor? they've played really well at times and have made their fair share of mistakes. to state they're poor is a great exaggeration IMO. I like the fact that Sanders has played more giving some stability to the backfield

For most of the year, we've been playing the "patty cake" defense. No pressure on the QB, Thomas dancing with the OL in a ballroom dancing minuet. 10 yard outs given up freely.

Maybe he has the nerve to shake it up a bitaroo?

the 0-5-6

the "oh fifty-six"

because it is what it is
