one thing about these guys rants on wfan i always found. their knowledge and anger is directed almost always correctly. unlike our boston radio folks where its always driven by some agenda to bring players/teams down and bend them to submission .just my opinion

That's totally true, but the NY Jets media does have a lot more material to rant about. I think that some of the Boston media turns contrarian just because they want to be a different voice, though usually they just come off as angry, off base, and mildy crazy. If the Pats were bad, I'm guessing that the Boston media wouldn't appear as agenda driven and they would just rant more instead.

Joe B's rants are classic,I make a point of going to the Wfan podcast page after a jets loss,they are so good.I like Beningo,(obviously a fan of NY teams) but still fairly objective,IMHO.(He had a good rant about BB hoisting the Lombardi several times,and why the Jets coudnt keep him as a HC a few years ago).

Good points. I'm convinced that the vast majority of media around here would rather be recognized as licensed Al Qaeda members before even being suspected by their brethren and audiences of being "homers." In their eyes, it's the ultimate crime deserving of the ulitimate sanction - the death penalty. No where does there exist a group of self-righteous buffoons more full of themselves.

As much as I dislike Jets fans, I do respect their loyalty. Can't be easy to stick with these guys year after year. Imagine if the Pats had hired a different coach ten years ago.
