So who do we want to play in the playoffs?

So what do you guys think?

Wild Card round: Jville?Denver?Balt?

If wild card win then who:
Personally watching SD I just dont get it, LT is not is old self and never will be, they cant pressure the QB which is definately good for Brady and our offense. Rivers is throwing at a high level and you saw what Brees did to us he was spot on that day and we couldnt stop him.
Indy well not going to pick at an old scab we had them dead to right and choked.

Would love to hear some thoughts from the board.

Let's take them all on.
Jville? We've owned them in the playoffs. Garrad just can't get them over the hump.
Denver? Not the team they were when we first played them. Still a lot of growing pains
Balt? Will have an easy schedule heading into the playoffs. Their first game they will be on their heels.

Teams I don't want to play:
Tennesse, Miami, Pittsburgh who are heating up right now.

I don't care who we play first round, I think we easily beat any of them. Then I definitely want Indy first, as they'll be coming off a bye and a month of meaningless games. Then SD, who will be overconfident and yapping off going into the AFCCG. Then in the superbowl, I want revenge on NO.

Easily! That word is not in the Patriot's vocabulary.

Any team will be a struggle for our team. We just aren't that good.

And then if we do win, we play Indy, or Cinci, or SD? All of whom would probably beat us pretty badly. Quick strike throws against our sluggish defense will just rip us apart. Cinci we might have a chanceroo at.

Denvoid, they will beat us, we were helpless against the mightly Orton. Although Brady would probably be better, he seems to be a shadow of the man he once was [que 'Yesterday'...yesterday/when brady seemed to know how to play/oh how I long for yesterday].

Scaltimore we should actually beat. Pittsburgh always tough, don't know. They're a long shoteroo.

I am going to have to pick denver i think they have been in a bit of a decline. But in saying that all playoff teams are dangerous. so Denver then Indy then hopefully someone has beat the chargers by then and we'll have a homefield afc game haha

Gee, i just wish you weren't such a bubbly optimist, it's kind of hard to take. ;)

If you had to pick between -

Denver first then go to SD

or

Baltimore first then go to Indy.

What do you choose?

I think it plays out that Baltimore is the 5 seed and Denver the 6...

I would rather have Denver in round one even if it meant a west coast trip after wards...

Josh McDaniels will pay for that fist pump ... that's all I have to say.

That will be the Pump-This series.

How about if the Patriots first qualify for the playoffs? I seriously doubt the Jaguars and Texans will roll (or bend) over for the Patriots like the Titans did earlier this season.

Call me crazy but I just feel like this season will be alot like 06 was... go out to San Diego and shock them and take down the Colts in the AFC title game. The only thing that worries me is the cross country trip, only to make another trip for a tougher game. Thoughts?

I'll take my chances against Denver and then San Diego. I think Baltimore win or lose would end our season, way to physcial of a game.

Any team is beatable, even at home.......... Seems to me I recall us beating some pretty heavily favored teams in their place to go to a few SB's..................

Get in the playoffs and bring your A-game and you have a good chance.....

It is what it is........

Denver, let them come here and the revenge tour starts, then we move onto SD to beat them, then we go into Indy open up a can of ass whoopin, cap it off with a beat down of NO.lol

See: Just like this! Perfect!

Can we play the Bills again?

I want to beat an undefeated Indy team. That would be just as good as winning the SB, even if we don't get any further.

I couldn't care less who we play. I just want to get in the playoffs.

We should make this a stickie.

What nonsense folks are posting. We don't get killed in Indy. We certainly didn't get killed in Indy the last time we played them. I do want to play Denver and Indy. We are a better team then we were and they are worse (Denver) or about the same (Indy).

How is New England better now than when they lost to the Colts?

IMHO..doesn't matter who we get in the wild card round...we'll win that round..we're bascially one and done. I really don't see us getting past indy or sd.

Doesn't "one and done" refer to a team that plays one game, loses it and is done after that game, therefore "one and done?" Serious question because I want to know if I've been using it incorrectly.
