Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

Having a super stud like Darrell Revis waste his career as a jet goes right up there with guys like Tony Gonzalez and Jason Taylor who never saw winning traditions other than a decent year or two.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

They will beat Indy this weekend.

Great running game against Indy's weakness on D.

Preach patience to Sanchez, and tell the dip to protect the ball.

Throw the book at Peyton and make him feel uneasy.

Wayne is not going to make catches on Revis.

Put it all together: Colts lose.

I hope Indy doesn't lose. I want them to have to deal with all the pressure we had in 2007.

God, I hope so.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

And the Patriots got a QB with zero starts from the same program, and turned him into a legitimate starting QB. . . . :D

Have you watched KC this year? Legitimate starting QB might be a stretch for Cassel. I think marginal starter who Belichick and McDaniels made look legit with smoke and mirrors.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

I love it. Even better is remembering the Jest taunts after their 3-0 start. That came back hard to bite them in the @ss :)

As far as this week versus indy, I can't root for either of them. I'll just be happy know 1 will lose, and sad knowing 1 will win. And I bet Manning won't play very much. I doubt the colts would be happy if they won the game, but lost Manning due to a nasty hit from scott or someone. The jets can bring pressure, and there is absolutely no reason to risk an injury to they key to your superbowl hopes.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

I wonder how bad they are going to kill him today on WFAN.

Put Brady or Manning on that Chiefs team and the results would be just about the same. That team is just terrible.

I didn't say "top 10 QB." Merely that he should be one of the 32 starters. :)

Don't count on it, I'm pretty sure, they will tank this game or the last one.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

If the Jets win then Sanchez should have a trophy on his mantle which claims that as a rookie he beat both Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

That is something few ...if any rookies have ever done, can't remember any...Maybe Roethlisberger in 2004 did it but too lazy to check.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

I can understand why he's crestfallen. That was an AWFUL loss. That was even worse than the Pats' loss in Miami since NY blew that game at home. Atlanta looked awful the entire day and really had no business winning that game. That NY blew it horrifically must have all Jets fans steaming mad.

Regards,
Chris

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

Hyprocrisy notwithstanding, it is always entertaining to see the New York media transition from ridiculous emotional highs like "Rex Almighty" and "Sanchise" to bottom churning lows like this in the course of a single season. It's almost a mirror image of last year's stories.

Definitely, never gets old

QUOTE]

The Jets have a shot but don't think they haven't been doing this all along. The HC's and OC's looks of frustration were priceless starting with the second INT yesterday.

Worth a #2? :D

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

What else they expect? They already won their "superbowl" on week 2. Guess thats chapter 1 of a sad story!!

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

Any questions, as if there ever were any questions, why BB resigned as HC of the NYJ? That job makes you stupid.

Re: Fat Rex Surrenders

Tire tube now has the greatest 7-7 football team in the history of the NFL. Keep talking fat man about the greatness of your football team, we might actually believe it one of these days.

The missing piece according to Foghorn was the deal for Brayon Edwards, that was the missing piece that would put them over the top............I get it now.........

Rex you FAT bast.............
