Randy Moss tells reporters: You did your talking, let me do mine
Posted by Michael David Smith on December 20, 2009 5:12 PM ET
No NFL player was more heavily scrutinized in the media last week than Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss, who was ripped in some corners for dogging it on the field, while defended in other corners as having played a good game Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

Today Moss was much more involved in the Patriots' offense in the win over the Buffalo Bills, and after his five-catch, 70-yard, one-touchdown effort, he told the assembled reporters it was time for them to let him be the one to talk.

"You did y'alls talkin' now lemme do mine," Moss said, per Danny Picard of CSNNE.com. "It's been really a tough couple weeks. You move on, that's the nature of the game. I'm happy that we got this victory. I appreciate all the support from my true fans, the players, the coaches, my family and loved ones.

"I've been in this league 12 years man, and I've been through a lot. And these shoulders that I have on my body, you can put the earth on it. So, just to let you know, I bounce back. I appreciate it."

With that, Moss walked off without taking any questions

He is still a cool guy imo. Show em Randy

I'm proud to say that I never doubted him the whole way from being sent home to his awful play last week. Love seeing him stick it to everyone, including those of our own that lost faith.

I wonder how the media douches like Felger are going to spin this into something bad.

Why do we put up with the Felgers Callahans and Borges jerks? Does anyone really enjoy constant attacked on our players? I find it sickening.

And now Randy is playing with a chip on his shoulder. This is going to end very, very well.

I certainly hope so. We're going to need that chip to be as big as it possibly can be in the playoffs.

That was pretty cool.

He's getting the guy from Motorhead to do his?

I think he could have had one more TD had he gone up for it at the end of the game instead of watching it bounce off his defender's helmet. Otherwise he played well and I was happy to see them mix up his routes a bit.

I'm out of here

I think u might be getting moss confused with Jesus. He is the only miracle man I know

Would that make Jesus a....dogfaker?

O...MY...GOD. You literally just can't please some people why even try. Some peoples attitude on this board is ridiculous. I think randy had the best response to your comment... just walk away

I love the way Moss deals with the pondscum media. While Belichick tries to hide his utter contempt for them, Moss is able to get away with basically calling them all one big steaming POS.

I remember when he broke the season TD record and said in his presser "yeah it was good to be able to shut you guys up." While many mediots had the good grace to just take that one on the chin, others--the worst of the hacks--went nuts and the vendetta just continued in a vicious circle. One ESPN commentator, Amy Lawrence, who is just plain bad in just about every way you can be bad at your job, was so offended on the radio that night that I though she was going to cry.

I love watching Moss play the game ...and I'm glad he's a Patriot and I'm glad he's a captain ... however - off the field, one waitress I know who has waited on him several times put it best ... he's a d!ck.

Go Randy !!!

Some fans will never be happy unless everyone is perfect every down of every drive of every game of every season.
