I don't know how are we going to fix our 2nd half woes. If we don't it will be a 1 and done in playoffs

here is somethign reiss said
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- After focusing on the pass on their opening drive of the third quarter, the Patriots made a noticeable strategic change on their long drive that ended with a Stephen Gostkowski field goal.

They ran five plays out of the two-back set on that long drive, favoring more compact, powerful formations in the run game.

That will be something to watch in the fourth quarter as the Patriots look to build on their 17-3 lead.
did they run this rest of the way ???

I really hope Miami lose in OT because Jacksonville may just eat us alive.

Good win but Brady is not Brady yet.

I don't know how this will sound, but I think Brady did get back to being Brady and that now he's not Brady again. I think that those who suggest he's been playing a lot more hurt these past couple of weeks than we know are on to something.

I'm suggesting that we all pitch in and buy O'Brien a playcalling dartboard for Christmas. Something to inject some randomness and unpredictability into the plays. We just need to make sure that it has more than the two existing dartboard segments: "Bomb to Moss" and "Quick out to Welker".

Greg Camarillo just did us a solid.

Agree with that. Brady is toughing this out, I don't know if we'll ever find out just how bad he is hurt. I personally feel the cumulative effect of his injuries are quite bad and these would result with lesser men sitting out.

Tenn won in ot

Finally a defense with a pass rush. It was gorgeous. Great to see Seau in there I love that guy (despite his "forever" speech that caused them to lose on Feb 3, 2008).

Offense I agree: if you throw the long ball on third and long every time, it sort of loses its surprise value.

The Pats used to be a Monster in the fourth quarter. Now they are little pink hairless mouse pups that you can step on and crush. It is pathetic.

But a W is a W, and I'm very happy with the defense.

ugly win...I really wantr to know why Slater is on the field and Welker on the sideline with 3 minutes left...this kid looked like he was singlehandedly trying to throw the game

they're using Slater as a blocker, not a wr.................which.of course signals that we're going to run.

playing not to lose is not working..........kevin faulk is the answer..........throw to the running backs.........goddamnit

You're talking out of your ***. They really mixed up the playcalling today and had Welker run seams and Moss more drags and runs across the middle. Brady is the one who keeps forcing the throw into Welker who was double-teamed most of the time. That's how we lost our last few drives in the 2nd half.

Stars aligning for the Pats now..... stay tuned.

They must know something we don't, seeing that Slater whacked a linebacker and took him out of the game.

Musta been eating his wheaties or something.

Tom Brady is flat out no longer reliable or good in the clutch. Consisntently makes poor reads/decisions and when pressure the ONLY checkdown he will make is a throw to Welker no matter what the coverage-double or triple.

yeah Pat...the thing is, I would have pulled him from the game after he flubber gumped the onside kick...THAT was truly pathetic and for someone with "hands" supposedly, totally unacceptable. It IS possible to work a running play without having Slater as a "blocker" and lining up Welker on the other side of the run.

Look, it's a small point, but it could have REALLY been a different story if Buffalo wasn't offside...Slater does NOTHING for me.

You started drinking much too early today...

Aiken was the one who fumbled the onside.

Nice win. Glad we were able to pull it out. hopefully we can continue next week.
