Re: Reiss and Curran both report Taylor, Neal, Wilfork, Pryor, Warren all out

The NFL (now) requires that when a team travels it discloses players that definitely didn't make the trip. I don't know why, but it does.

So I guess the reports say these guys didn't even make the trip.

Damn I was hoping to see Vince do that backwards high step dance he did last week. I was thinking on a behind the line of scrimage 3rd down stop deep in Buffalo territory. Hopefully Brace has some dance moves.

Thanks.

I don't get it. We never even get a leak the night before a game but now all of a sudden 5 guys know the Patriots plans for tomorrow? Just doesn't make sense but ok. That sucks bad. Big loses.

The official Patriots twitter feed is always the first to announce this stuff:

New England Patriots (realpatriots) on Twitter

They even used twitter to announce there draft picks before they were mentioned on TV.

No big deal as long as we've still got a healthy Seymour........

Oops! Nevermind.

You must mean Seymour Berkowitz, at the concessions stand. :D

... nearly an oxymoron for years.

That horse has been beaten to death.

Runz...... Seymour Runz

Re: Kaczur OUT as well

Burgess will have his hand down. What about Thomas?

Thomas should have no problem playing DE for one game ... he might even be good at it.

Wow, that only leaves Green, Wright, Brace, and Adams as the big DL.

This is Ron Brace's chance to shine.

Brace for disaster.

Good one

Hope your wrong and Brace plays the game of his life.

So you slept through 2008?

I can't speak for him, but I didn't and that still doesn't change my mind of 05, 06 and 07 when Seymour missed a good amount of time. Say what you want, but Seymour and reliable health is a rare occurence.

As was said, the four man line is Banta-Cain, Wright, Green and Burgess. Other linebackers could also play DE in certain formations. So, believe it or not, all the linemen being out makes more 43 more likely.

As far as the 3-4, both Wright and Green have played the nose. So has Adams.

Or we could brace for Brace.

In Ron Brace we trust?

See you guys in 2010!

JK.

I think.

Sign Terdell Sands?

crap..
could be a very lone day tomorrow..

Reiss reports that AD travelled with the team.

I don't foresee an issue with our OL, since we'll swing Vollmer to RT. I suspect Ohrnberger will be active. So much for trying to involve our TE's in the passing game.. they'll be back to chipping or double-teaming Schobel.

With our DL being so light, I wonder if we'll see extended play from McGowan in spy to check Fitzpatrick and contain the run.

Relax. Plays right into our plan. They run the ball all day and spare our mistake prone secondary. Keeps their scoring down, pressures D to perform. Brady carves them up. Victory in the face of adversity is just what this team needs.

We have just enough left with Burgess and Green at DE and Wright and Brace at NT. It's not pleasant but if Buffalo beats us it will be passing not running and our DL should be as mediocre as ever against the pass with this group.
