I think Kaczur stinks.

Sorry if you're reading this, Kaczur.

That is all.

I think he stinks when A) injured and B) covering for a weakness at RG.

He's a fine backup. I sure am glad that the Pats drafted Das Ubertakle.

Same here. I loved seeing Vollmer on the right side.

I hope this is the end of Kaczur as a starter, because if it isn't, he's going to end up getting Brady killed.

Ummm, I sincerely hope he's der Ubertackle, since das is the neuter pronoun in German. :scared:

Ditto. Nice swing tackle. Don't want him as my starter. He's adequate with a good RG to cover for him, but he's too easily exposed. It's not just his lack of mobility and susceptibility to speed rushers. He's not quick or strong enough. I'll never forget 240# Robert Mathis bull rushing him into Tom Brady and causing an incomplete pass on a critical 3rd down in the Colts game.

Sounds like a great guy, a good team player, and a valuable backup. But let's get him out of the starting rotation ASAP.

I try to give every player the benefit of a doubt, but the way Kaczur has played lately, I'm not sure that we couldn't find a better BACKUP than him. Does he at least have some kind of injury as an excuse... like an amputated leg or two? No lateral movement whatsoever.

I am more than fine with Ubertackle starting at RT, but Kaczur was fine starting at LT in his rookie year and being the starter at RT next to a strong Neal. Having Connolly and Kaczur as the right side of the line is a recipe for disaster.

Since Kaczur is signed for a couple of more years, I expect that he will be given the opportunity to be a backup and even compete for the RG starting spot.

They're replacing him with this:

Should see some improvement.

Since Ubertakle is not a real word, we don't know what gender the pronoun is (the gender designation in German is pretty strange), but I think we should keep 'das' over 'der' because Kaczur does not always play like a man.

Damnit! And to think I wasted all that time learning the language of the other relevant Axis Power!!!:p

Play him as a defensive end. He's the quarterback pressure sack machine our pass rush sorely desires.

Interesting to hear people say that some of Kaczur's poor play is a symptom of the RG being injured or ineffective.

I've observed Kaczur being totally blown up one on one the last two times that Tom threw picks:
-- getting rushed by Kaczur via a good bull rush from Peppers and threw it haphazardly into double coverage.
-- had Kaczur's block responsibility draped around his waist on the final play in the Miami comeback that never was.

Kaczur has been fine at tackle for the Patriots, albeit not great, over the course of his career. He's done well enough that the Patriots decided to give him money to stick around past his rookie contract.

I'd like to see him getting work at right guard.

That is all.

His technique of shove once, then stand there and watch the DE run to the QB didn't work as well as he planned against Mathis, I'm guessing.

Agreed. Im curious why he looks so bad this year. I've always defended him in the past, but even im ready to see him be a backup

What's his pay for the next couple years?

It would be IDEAL if he could be a top backup. Light at LT, then Mankins, Koppen, Neal, and Vollmer at RT. I personally would LOVE this lineup and think it could be a very dominant line. If Vollmer gets injured, Kaczur takes his place. If Light gets injured, Vollmer can take his place and Kaczur can play RT.

If Kaczur is our back we are in great shape.

he even kills me on my madden franchise.. always getting flagged for clipping.. wtf..
