Nothing to lose or gain in this one Pats wise, but what the heck...I'm always up for watching me some Larry Fitz and co, and I've been quietly rooting for the Niners to turn their franchise around under Singletary's guidance. Who wins? Who loses? Who cares? But it's football!

I am cheering for Arizona. This game is actually one I am instrested in watching.

Alex Smith has gotten the Cardinals to jump three times on this drive.

They still owe me from last season. I picked against them every playoff game, and then when I finally broke down and rooted for them in the SB (for obvious reasons :D) They had the NERVE to lose THAT one! :D

Aaaannnd the Niners get intercepted. I'd say the the very least they need to do to win this is to keep Warner and Co. off the field as much as possible. Rut roh! And yes, sometimes I DO like to state the obvious, why do you ask? Hehe.

EDIT: Then the Niner's D follows that up with forcing a 3 and out on the Cards. There ya go.

Cards Hightower clearly fumbles the ball, and it's recovered by Niners and run into the EZ for a TD. Wasn't called a fumble on the field for some reason, so the Niner's had to use their 2nd challenge to get the call. Which they did. But no TD and out of challenges for the game. That's what you call good news/bad news, for sure.

Smith to Vernon Davis on 2nd and goal for the TD, though.

Niners 7-0.

Looks like the Cardinals are playing there usual december style of football...

Well, well...ANOTHER fumble by the Cards. Maybe I was wrong...the Niners might do well to have the Cards offense on the field, after all. :D

Everytime I watch the Cardinals they either look really good or really bad.

Warner threw another INT. Man SF after all needs Arizona Offense on the field. 4 TO in the first half alone

OMG! Boldin just quit on a play that lead to an INT (stopped running his route as Warner threw to him)! Call the media!

Looked like Boldin gave up on that int. Anyone on this station going to jump on him tomorrow?

BTW, this game is dull as dishwater.

2nd interception on Warner. I think Boldin dogged it on that play! :bricks:

4 turnovers by the Cards so far - 2 fumbles and 2 INTs. Looks like "bad Cards" showed up tonight.

Niners still up 10-0 and have possession inside 2 minutes left in the half.

EDIT: Aaaaaand Smith to Crabtree for the TD. Niners 17-0.

That was heck of a catch by Crabtree.

Holy Crap turn over no 5. Warner's turn to fumble. Man

Cards managed to get a FG finally. Larry Fitz got his knee crunched on their 1st drive after the half and is in the locker room for xrays and questionable to return.

I've lost count of the flags, almost all on the Cards.

Niners 17-3.

EDIT: Cards pick off Smith, Fitz back in the game. Things could be looking up for the Cards...

Wow. GREAT 2nd effort by Beanie Wells on 4th and goal to get the TD after he got stuffed initially. Niners block the PAT though. Niners 17-9.

EDIT: Woops! Now Beanie fumbles it on their next possession, just when things were looking up for the Cards. 6 turnovers by the Cards! Niners already at 1st and goal with one run by Gore. RUT ROH!

EDIT2: Gore gets it in on 3rd and goal for the TD. Niners 24-9.

2 sacks in a row just now on Warner. 4th of the night (plus forced a fumble by Warner, too.)

Is the Niners pass rush THAT good, or the Cards OLine THAT bad? Inquiring minds want to know. And hope it's more of the latter so she won't be envious. :D

EDIT: Holy crap! Forced fumble on Boldin this time. 7th Cards turnover of the game. Tied with Panthers for league high, apparently. Watching another team with a talented offense muck it up this bad is making me pretty happy, I gotta admit. I probably would have checked out of this game earlier otherwise. HEE!

Niners win 24-9.

After watching this game, I wonder why Mayo isn't used the same as Patrick Willis is for the 49ers? It seems as though he blitz's much more than Mayo does. I am assuming that Willis has better instincts, he seems better in pass coverage, and is always flying around the ball. Is Mayo's role more limited for the Pats or is Willis just a better play maker at the moment?

Willis is a much, much better player than Mayo.
