Michael Felger: Time to run Moss out of town

Looks like the anti-Maroney crowd have a new whipping boy. Makes me more certain than ever that Moss will rebound in a big way.

Felger, the attention getting contrarian, is tiring...

I won't read or listen to that clown anymore

he's been saying this for three weeks now... it's nothing new. :shrugs:

So everyone who's anti-Maroney is (or is about to be) anti-Moss? What's your reasoning behind that?

I'm "anti-"Maroney but I don't have a problem with Moss.

I thought Moss was dogging it yesterday, but I don't think it is a problem that isn't correctable. Unless Moss packs it in for the rest of the year, I don't see any way he isn't back next season.

What makes you think this is even a possibility let alone remotely likely to happen? I don't think you would say "Unless Brady packs it in for the rest of the year, I don't see any way he isn't back next season".

Running him out of town seems a wee bit harsh.

Felger has been beating the "Moss is a dog" drum since Randy got here.

Up until Sunday I never felt he had a leg to stand on. But with the way Randy dogged it against the Panthers makes Felger's claims somewhat legitimate.

Although I'm sure BB and the Pats will do everything to fix this, but if they can't and Moss loafs threw another couple of Sundays, what choice will the Patriots have?

To tell you the truth,Outside of Brady and Welker who are locks on the 2010 team, I think there is NOT ONE OTHER PLAYER on this team that is a sure thing or lock of being on the team if he does not play well the rest of the year....and yes, that includes Moss.

why are you anti-Maroney?

being anti-anyone is incredibly stupid

Talk about overreacting. When did I say that I thought it was going to happen? I stated the extreme that would be required for him to get run out of town and you twist it into that I am expecting him to do this.

As for Brady, Brady is the long term future of the Pats. No one has ever questioned his effort. Totally different story. Brady has played several really bad games this year, but you can argue that it was because he was trying too hard to win the game himself.

I don't DESPISE Felger like many ppl do........ but this is uncalled for.

What an a-hole

"anti-"

Means "not a fan". I'm obviously not anti the guy. I was just using the poster's own verbiage.

I don't like his running style and he's injury prone.

They won't put up with it for too long. Clearly they have to make the best out of it the rest of the way. Then this offseason they can asses. Does Moss keep this up the rest of the way or does he get his head on straight. The answer to that probably answers whether he comes back IMO.

To a certain extent, I would agree with you. I wouldn't be shocked if Moss was gone in the right circumstance (say Favre comes back for the Vikes and they come knocking with a good draft pick trade and the Pats signe a Boldin or someone else who can replace him). I just don't see that happening. I think there are younger players who are uncutable or tradeable.

TIME to run Michael Felger out of town

Time to run his behind far out of town!! This piece of excrement has never liked Moss..is just a smarmy and smug self promoter who has done NOTHING at all for this town..If any one person..maybe besides Borges and Tomase should be run out..Felger would get my vote!! Run Moss out of town?? He's a Dbag..and this proves it to me.

anyone ever listen to him on 98.5?????

has he ever been right about anything?

I definitely went overboard on that comment, but the point I was trying to make is how subconciously that came into your mind to say because it was regarding Moss. Things that are highly unlikely to occur aren't usually stated like that.

The thing is because of his reputation which was largely created by the media, mailing it in is an unfair stigma attached to Moss' name.
