Says he knows that a month or so ago brady called out moss in practice which became a problem according to holley and moss apparently talked to brady and said "he hurt his feelings" or something to that respect
FWIW ..not sure how much holley knows exactly...

Some people are like that...get their feelings hurt and sulk. Passive aggressive.

Or maybe Moss is hurt-a-roo. I hope not. If he has a bad back, it's not really easy to play with that. Try impossible. Rest and strengthening/stretching exercises will help.

Maybe rest him for the next 3 weeks, we should still be able to win the games even without him, plus it gives some experience to the backup-aroos.

This would explain a great deal-although IMO seemingly childish on Moss' end. I'm starting to think that he and the Pats were talking contract and Pats walked away and he got mad.

Holley said he knew this story to be a fact...

Without Moss to game plan for, teams would double/triple team Welker and that would be end of it. We need Moss for the vertical threat he brings to each game and add to the fact we don't have a good third receiver, we will be in serious trouble if that happens.

I watched ESPN for the first time in months.

After week 14, the following happened:

SB Champion Pittsburgh Steelers lose their 5th straight

The "elite" New York Giants lost their 6th in the last 7

The Cowboys are in the midst of another December disaster.

So ESPN has several headlines on Randy Moss...?????

Has anyone ever remember when play from one player on a winning team dominated the "bad" storylines?

It's just unbelievable

Michael doesn't work for ESPN. And it's happened lots of times. Even here.

No, no hear me out guys! Rest him and play another player IN his PLACE! So they will have to guard that guy and if he's single coveraged-a-roo then hit him!

Or change to more of a two TEer offense. We need to change things up aroo anywho.

So we know for a fact that a month ago Brady and Moss had a little tiff? And then we can jump to all of our conclusions...

Do we know this was a first? What about 07, were there any similar situations?

In '07? We didn't lose in '07, why would there be any tiff?

Probably not since it was an undefeated regular season and they didn't practice after the one loss. Tom didn't play in pre season in 2008 and the first ball he threw to Moss in 2008 was dropped by him untouched as Brady grabbed for his left knee.

There is a problem here. But Bill and Tom will deal with it as best they can. Don't concern yourself with it because it obviously makes you uncomfortable.

I don't get it? You can't call people out in practice until you lose a game?

No idea why the details of the 08 incident there Mo...

I don't care if they had a fight a month ago. These guys are around each other more than their friends and families for a majority of the year. Everyone in that locker room has probably had a disagreement with each other at some point. I know Randy Moss has been found to be "fragile" or "sensitive" but I doubt he is still pouting about the time Tom called him out. Brady has probably reamed out every person on that offense at one time or another. They are friends and they talked it out.

It's funny it comes out a month later too, as if just waiting for Moss to have a real bad game.

Mo

I am origionally from Massachusetts and I realize Holley doesn't work for ESPN.

Again, it's the larger point.

The Pats did WIN the game.

The Pats scored on 4 of the last 5 drives. The only non scoring drive was after 64 yards were gained before a fumble.

A review of second half stats prorated:

Pats 26 points/466 yards of offense/ 35 minutes TOP

Panthers 6 points/182 yards of offense/ 25 minutes TOP

It's obvious that much of the hysteria and nonsense that has permeated this blog is the result the Holleys' and Felger's of the world.

How about this scenario:

The home team needed a victory after a two game losing streak.

After playing poorly in the first half, they came out and won a hard fought game against a talented but under achieving opponent.

Ofcourse, if you are auditioning for the "gossip" gig, well.. that's different.

Yeah, I was just about to say the same thing.

I can't listen to any of the local sports guys anymore.. especially Felger. I just can't stand the constant complaining about everything. We are the most blessed fan base over the last decade with our major teams. People are so spoiled and I just dont get it. We have great teams every year and the Pats have been especially successful the last 9 years... so they are not dominant like they were a while back but they are still a very good team. They are in great position for the playoffs and if they can figure out how to stop the couple of blown plays per game on D'.. they can be dangerous in the playoffs. Moss will be fine, everyone is way overblowing this thing. He had a bad game, big deal it happens to em all... except maybe Welker.

I haven't read this entire thread, but I tend to believe Holley based on what I've observed on the sidelines in the last month or so between Tom and Randy.

How do we get them to triple team Aiken? Bribes?
