Cris Carter calls Moss performance "pathetic"

As for the media, the are around the team more than anyone else. They can see what is going on. The national media such as Cris Carter and Boomer Esiason they talk to people, they get the first hand account of what is going on. I cant stand people that bash the media when they write about things like this. They are doing their job and writing on what they see, it isnt always going to be positive.

If I have $.05 and you have $.25, you aren't really any less BROKE than I am even though you have 5 times as much. The media is filled with self righteous clowns who will go out of their way to find the negatives (or create them) when it comes to people they don't like or that "make their jobs harder". For example, Bill Belichick. The media doesn't like him, and thus they go out of their way to write negative things about him and trash him for anything and everything. But yea I should definitely love the media. Sure there are some that I like and respect, but I still understand they don't have ALL the information.

Moss is the only receiver they are going to write this stuff about because all the other receivers either

A) are not that talented

or

B) Talk to the media and give them quotes

You could grab film of any WR and show examples of them "standing around" or looking like they aren't going all out or not running a perfect route with maximum effort on every play. Same with spygate, the media doesn't care they just want to bash who they want to bash.

It WAS pathetic, but was he saying it was pathetic because he was dogging it, or just that it was a bad performance? Isn't this an important piece of info?

You dont understand the media, if you think that they just go around looking for negative things that they can write about. It isnt like it is just 1 or 2 media members saying that Moss is lacking effort, its all of them. Have you seen any articles, reports that defend Moss? Reiss one of the most respected Pats reporters there is, he is even questioning Moss' effort. The media has a lot more information than you or anyone else on here, so we have to believe what they write and report especially when they are all saying the same thing.

Sure everyone takes a play off, it happens, but Moss was like this the ENTIRE game yesterday. Look at Wes Welker, do you think that guy takes many plays off and just stands around?

after moss caught the first TD passin miami running through the defense iam sure everyone thought he was dogging it... Just 4 freaking quarters and that idiot chris gamble says something and it now a top story.
Iam amazed how much media likes to cover stories which involve players being traded, disciplined , coaches on hot seat, player on hot seat etc.
he has had a lousy stretch. since being with the pats he has had 43 odd TDs. first in the league i believe. I see no reason why moss is intentionally trying to 'dog' it . Does he hate bb/brady? Does he want to get traded. ? just idiotic speculation by people on the outside.

Enough with the injury excuses. Moss played with a bad back earlier in the season and had some really good games. Making those excuses for him now is ridiculous. He had a bad game yesterday. It happens to everyone, Randy Moss included. He just needs to move on and start concentrating on Buffalo. Hopefully all this talk pisses him off and he torches the Bills defense, like he is capable of doing.

Get a clue. I don't HAVE to believe anything someone else writes just because they have a little bit more access to things than I do. All this crap about Moss is not coming from people's reactions to things going on inside the locker room, or with any special access to the team. It's all 100% judging body language which none of the idiots in the media have any more skill at than you or I.

Bet you are probably one of the ones who believes the media when they say BB is an ego-driven mad man with no respect or loyalty to any human being.

Do you have family members in the media, or are you in the media?

First of all, I dont have any family in the media and I am not in the media myself.

I am not saying that you HAVE to believe what the media report, but you should atleast consider what they have to say because they see the team on a day to day basis and have more knowledge than you or I.The only thing we see is Moss on the field on Sundays, the media sees him every practice and every team meeting. You cant deny that they know more about the situation than you or I.

I actually have all the respect in the world for BB, and when the negative reports and articles are written about BB it is usually from someone from the national media who isnt around BB on a day to day basis and doesnt watch every Patriots game. Therefore I do not look at it the same as if someone who does follow the Pats on a day to day basis wrote the same kind of article.

Just typed up the transcript and added to the original post for those interested in his exact analysis.

A blind man can see that that pass late in the game from Brady that went right through Randy's hands was the result of Randy not wanting to get hit going in the middle of the defense,He gave up on that play and there is NO doubt about that.
