From the tweet itself, 2 minutes ago:

# Today's Patriots inactives are Taylor, Wheatley, Ohrnberger, Neal, Aiken, Pryor, Brace and Thomas.

Edelman is the #3 option, Stanback is the #4. I'm fine with that. I don't know what Wheatley's problem is, and Ron Brace must be having real problems adjusting to the NFL. I thought that pick was stupid with the defensive line as stacked as it was--and with Rey Maualuga still available. Maualuga reminds me of Bruschi.
Maualuga had gone by the time we picked Brace.

Everette Brown was the high-rated guy who hadn't along with Butler who we took next pick.

will Vollmer play some G..... ? i think he is a better run blocker then a pass blocker

brace not active what's new just a bad pick he was playing next to a top 10 pick in b.j raji who has not done much this year him self

Ah, I guess I screwed the order up in my head. I like the rest of our draft class but can't figure out why we selected Brace. Just re-sign Wilfork for Christ's sake. A 2nd round pick is too high to spend on a depth player.

So the 3rd WR this week is Stanbeck... Not sure why Edleman is the #3 since it limits him to the 4th quarter unless total disaster strikes...

Both of them are on the 45-man roster.

In any case, you're conflating 3rd WR with the emergency QB3. :)

But, oh yes: Vollmer and Edelbinky active: Yay! :)

Looks like Taylor's warmup went poorly.
Maybe next week.

This is on your signature: wouldn't the trash BH tarnish your back if you use it instead of toilet paper? :D

I know that now. The original posting had Edleman as the #3 ERQB again which would have represented a real blow considering Aiken is out. And Neal is out. And Taylor remains out.

I would think if anything either Light or Kaczur would be playing out of position more-so than Vollmer. IMO, he's out #1 LT.

You know, I had'nt thought of that.
I may have to ammend my sig. lol

It will be nice to see Springs on the field today

Somehow, this is a game i just want to get over and win. I think we're going to win it ugly, but it's better than losing ugly like we did last week.

Taylor not a surprise, but disapointing. Neal out upsets me. Brady is 'gonna get beat up again. Hope for an effective run game to set up play action. No slow developing long pass plays, please.

I certainly hope they have a better plan for Neal's absence than they have the past few weeks. If not, we'll have to take guesses on what part of Brady's body gets injured next. Not really as worried about Aiken being inactive as some are on here. I think we'll be at the same level in the passing game with Edelman and Stanback.
