Re: Fred Taylor warming up....,maybe today?

Taylor is the only hope of presenting a genuine threat in the backfield and change the way defenses approach this offense. Even if he plays though, he will need some time to get back in football shape.

Re: Fred Taylor warming up....,maybe today?

Sure would be nice against a team that struggles against the run.

Re: Fred Taylor warming up....,maybe today?

Fred for me is our best back running the ball, I prefer faulk, and maroney is looking good, but Fred Taylor is a beast

Re: Fred Taylor warming up....,maybe today?

...especially if #12 is out..

Re: Fred Taylor warming up....,maybe today?

A healthy Taylor and Maroney could be a great combo in the playoffs...

I hope so. Also, for my fantasy football team it's either him or Harvin, and it looks like Harvin is out, the bastard.

For real though, I just hope he doesn't jump into the fray too early. That would be bad.

Fred Taylor is a huge key for this team going forward. If Freddy is healthy come playoff time he could really right this offense and help turn this ship around.

Having Taylor healthy is huge. And it looks more and more like the playoffs are starting today, for us anyways. I would really like to see the offense not abandon the run by the end of the 1st quarter. Especially when its working.
If Brady is throwing it up 45 times today I think I will start to wish that our O coordinator gets benched like Thomas. Hell, I'm already hoping for that actually!

Sounds like O-Coord in Pitts is in big trouble, but I'm personally rooting for a coming out party for O' Brien at this stage.

Taylor is inactive today.

But at least we know he's close. I have a hunch that if we make it to playoff's he could have a HUGE part in how far we make it.

Save him, don't let him play til january

If Neal can stay healthy for the postseason, I completely agree. Even without Neal, Fred is infinitely better than Maroney or Morris.

My guess is he'll start practicing this week and be back next week

Hasn't he already gotten back to limited practice?

yep, guess they just thought since the D of Carolina is so bad, they can give him an extra week off.

I still woulda made him active and the last string RB, only to used if we were losing. And right now, his 12 years of running experience would greatly help this anemic run and pass offense.
