I am watching fight club now and I can't help but think of BB and the Patriots.

BB is Tyler Durden

Btw many of us have been WAY ahead of the media on this. I could not believe how the Big Show and Felger and Mazz were really downplaying AD's comments as was Mike Holley until last night.
We on this forum were talking about the need for AD to go bye bye YESTERDAY MORNING.
Good job Patsfans.com board members :rocker:

Cancers and references to them aren't a good idea ... IMO.

Bad apples and sour grapes work better.

Agreed. Really dislike the term being applied to people.

hahahahahahaha. Comments below the article.

I find it hard to feel good that the guy who was supposed to be our best defensive player is exiled.
But this team does need a kick in the ass.

I agree that it's sad, but it's not like Thomas did nothing at all to merit this treatment.

Clearly, whatever issue has been festering has been building since at least the Tennessee game, if not earlier.

Come on Andy. When was AD ever our best defensive player? Was he supposed to be this year. Surely when we analyzed before the season, we all had Wilfork and Mayo before AD.

However, your point is well-taken. It is not a coause for celebration when a $5M player and your top OLB is a healthy inactive.

I'd like to take a picture of AD or AT or whatever his name is and RUB it right into BB's face. It's all his fault. He broke the bank for this BUM.

AD has ruined the team with his poor play and bad attitude.

Agreed, just like Terry Glenn ruined the team in 2001-2002, and Milloy ruined them in 2003-2004.

when was thomas supposed to be our 'best' defensive player?

and whose fault is it that he isn't?

Yeah, we're heading to the super bowl alright! Are you kidding me? With the swiss cheese pass defense? and no pass rush? And poster child AT king of the locker room spreading his message of "get paid and then relax" to everyone.

They need to do psychological evals on players, then they would have figured out that this guy was a b-u-m BUM!

This is actually a fair assessment. I don't think we're headed for Miami, but AD not playing isn't going to be what prevents us from exactly that. 7-5 is ridiculous. It is the frustrating nature of the losses that makes me thingk things could be better. If all 5 losses were just run-of-the-mill losses by 7-14 points, it'd be different. How can a team be so dominant one second and vulnerable the next ?

No kidding, if someone would put together a highlight/lowlight reel from the 1st half of games this year and compared it to the 2nd half reel, out side of the same color uniforms, you wouldn't believe you were looking at the same team. It's striking.

It happens. BB hit homeruns with Harrison, Welker and Vrable. Great players with impeccable attitudes and work ethic.

Thomas was the most sought after UFA that off season. I get the feeling that Thomas does not like the role he is in as a Patriot and that Ray Lewis made him look good in Baltimore. You still see Lewis making an impact despite his age and with people leaving that defense for other teams.

Gosh, some of you are overly sensitive and that's with my mother having died from cancer less than a year ago.

Anyway, yeah, hopefully some of the players will be scared straight from this. If they didn't know already they should now know there are real consequences to their actions.
