If he makes an impact on the game I think a lot of people will see this as the first sign of Burgess turning it around. But talk is cheap. As you just said Derrick, show us with your actions, on Sunday.

Exactly. Being accountable and taking responsibility is a first step. AD flunked that one. Burgess shows a lot more maturity.
Now if he can only perform on the field. Sounds like a quality guy, but he's been a major disappointment so far this year given what we gave up and the expectation of what he could bring to the pass rush.
In the movie SPR, Upham carried ammo to everyone ,spoke German, and was pretty useless other than that, Burgess can say all the right things, but if he can't do a better job, then he too is useless.

We'll thats the key. Hes saying the right things. I just hope its not lip-service to the media and fans.
In seeing him play, my impression is that hes not loafing out there, but his game has more holes than origionally thought. Hes not a great tackler. Limited pass rushing moves. Doesnt go in to coverage. It simply may be that he has lost his burst. Wish I had the answers to his lack of productivity.

I agree on all counts. Burgess has said that he's not about to join the mutiny, and it gives me some warm fuzzies about the locker room environment that has been diminishing somewhat.
