Per Reiss' Twitter.

Explains the two PS signings today (one filled Nunn's spot).

I thought I saw Lockett pull his groin on a ST PR pursuit. This explains it.

Ah, not Lockett! Who else will we have to talk smack on special teams?

If Adams gets playing time over Brace, there is seriously something wrong with this picture.

Is Brace hurt? I thought somewhere I heard he had back issues. Has he even been active for a game yet?

He was on the injury report for a week or two but was taken off it last Friday. Either a back or an ankle, I forget.

Titus Adams?

Is that a new beer from Jim Koch?

I think Adams could be a good DL, actually. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him jump over Brace immediately.

I would agree. Apparently Andy Gresh said Brace has work ethic and weight issues.

It's too bad, really. Hopefully he can turn things around for next season, when this DL will in all likelihood be down one man, if not two. There was talk after the draft of Brace being leverage for Wilfork so that if Wilfork left, Brace would be able to step in for Year 2. That obviously doesn't seem like something that will happen. Most likely, Green goes, and the Pats will either replace him with Wright or maybe even a Bobby Hamilton-type on the market. Brace will remain a backup. If Wilfork goes, Wright or Pryor again seem like the first internal replacement options.
