Baltimore Ravens (6-5) @ Green Bay Packers (7-4)
Game Center

Solid match-up tonight, for those wanting to focus on something other than the two game losing streak for a few hours.

Count me in!

And how did the Pack sneak up to 8-4 when I wasn't looking!? Anyway, pfffftttt on the Ravens, I say!

Heh, for some reason I posted the records I expect both teams to have after tonight rather than their current records.

Aaah, that's how. I'm sure they appreciate the vote of confidence! :D And should be more than doable especially with both Suggs and Reed out, if nothing else. Just keep your guy Rodgers standing, boys, keep him standing!

Good for Zybikowski (sp?) for finding a role and sticking with a pro squad. I always admired that guy in his Notre Dame days. This game should be a pretty entertaining one.

Wow. Look at that. Wouldn't you know... a 3-4 defense that actually applies pressure and forces the opposing quarterback out of the pocket! Whoda thunk it?

I'm sorry...what is this "pressure" that you speak of? :confused3:

Kind of a lame match up if you ask me. An injury-ridden Ravens squad versus the Packers who, despite their winning record, are still as dull to watch as last season.

They forced Flacco out of the pocket twice already. He's just made things happen. The first time he dumped it off to Rice for a decent gain. The second time, he tight-roped the sideline for a first down. If that was our defense, he would just be able to chill in the pocket for eight to ten seconds and pick and choose which receiver would net the most yards after the catch.

Ummmm...why was Harbaugh clapping after that Raven's turnover?

Hehe...I needed a sarcasm smiley in my post, too, I guess. :D

Thanks for taking the time with the nice explanation anyway, though!

You women and your sarcasm. Nah, I kind of suspected it was sarcasm but I didn't want to take my chances.

If the Ravens lose will Ray Ray blame the refs for being mean again?

Ravens fumble and GB recovers....GB fumbles right back to Ravens...GB next drive Rodgers is intercepted. Okay, this is helping me feel a little better about yesterday. Maybe. :help:

still 0-3 GB.

EDIT now a GB interception on Flacco. 4 turnovers in what, five minutes? I could watch this **** all night! :D

Your post inspired a interception by the man.

still 0-3 GB.

Now it's become...

Ravens lose fumble, GB lose fumble, GB throws INT, Ravens throw INT.

Wonder if they keep up the pattern.

I get a kick out of Gruden when he says "Watch the quarterback's eyes...watch him DIAGNOSE the play and MAKE the read!

Only it's not the Zybikowski I was thinking of.

That's because good QBs are "SURGEONS!!!" Except for when he calls them "SHERIFFS!!!" Although I think maybe he saves that one just for The Forehead. Hee!

Well, there we go...80 yard drive by GB with a couple of nice tosses to Findley at the end for the TD. GB up 10-0.

Haven't seen Donald Driver at all, though. Granted I've only been half paying attention, but since I noticed I've been looking for #80 and haven't seen it. Not injured or otherwise out that I know of, so just seems odd to not see him somewhere.

EDIT: Nevermind...Driver sighting. Then in for a TD, no less!. :)

GB 17-0
