I am trying to avoid the depressing thought going around Patriot Nation that has come to the realization that this team is a middle of the pack, more near mediocre than an Elite team so a change of subject....

So with that said I look to next week's big game where the Broncos go to Indianapolis to face the Colts sunday.

Who is your choice to win this game?

If you want Denver then you very well could be hoping on a team to win that would win the tiebreaker over NE for a wild card spot or even a #3 or #4 seed if both teams win thier division,If you want Indy to win then you don't care that Indy breaks the record of 21 that they are currently tied with NE for.

Since the NE record is tied with Indy at 21 straight RS wins anyway,it may be of little desire to want them to lose but since may here hate the Colts and like McD.....

I want Denver to win.

First, I don't want to see the Colts undefeated. Second, we will probably either win the division and be the #4 seed (and host whichever of Denver or San Diego is the wild card), or we may well finish out of the playoffs. I don't particularly want to back in. Either we earn our way in, or it doesn't matter. If we learn to play to our capability I don't particularly care who our opponent is. If we continue to play the way we have the past few weeks then we don't deserve to play anyone in the playoffs.

I want Denver to win, because I like Denver as far as non-Patriots teams go. Since the Pats have absolutely no shot at the #2 seed at this point, I don't really care about seeding. The Pats just have to win the AFCE, and if they can't manage that then they shouldn't be in the playoffs anyways.

Denver because of Bill Polian.

I think Denver is the last real test for Indy to remain undefeated and I actually think they will beat Indy.

Indy because I want the Pats to beat undefeated Indy in the AFCCG and then undefeated Saints in the Super Bowl!!!! haha

IT would be an awesome thing to see....but for this weekends game, I want to see Pay-A-Ton Manning loose to McDaniel's this weekend. It will hopefully prove that all he is an overpaid wanna be tv commercial actor.

i dont want an undefeated season for ANY team

and we shouldnt have to rely on the WC to get to the playoffs

Re: OT: Broncos at Colts next sunday.....Who do you want to win?

That would be impossible :snob:

Given the way team is playing at this point, I agree, But I can dream on ;)

Indy.

I want the weight of going undefeated to press on them. I don't want them getting mad at a loss.

Good point, and even funnier to see them one and done in the playoffs

I'd love to see Denver win. My heart says they will, but they will no doubt lose in the 4th Quarter, ensuring an undefeated season for Indianapolis.

I came in here to post the same thing.

Well, most likely we'd be playing the Colts in the divisional round.

Ways to somewhat erase the disappointing taste of 18-1 away..

A) Go 19-0
B) Knock off an 16-0 / 18-0 team in the same post-season.

That would be fantastic. I'm also openly rooting for the Saints to go undefeated in the regular season. Misery loves company and I'd love for another team to join the Perfect & 1 club.

I will never forgive the Giants for slipping through the playoffs and playing way over their heads against a nervous Patriots team. The most mediocre team ever to win a Super Bowl. My two favorite teams are truly the Patriots and whoever plays the Giants.

Re: OT: Broncos at Colts next sunday.....Who do you want to win?

I won't root for the Colts no matter what. It's easy for them to win when its 16 vs 11 on the field (team + 5 refs). Yesterday just underscored the fact that the colts are getting an unbelieveably number of breaks from the refs. Reminds me of the 80's 49ers.

Ummmm....Denver....Do you really want annoying INDY fans bragging about how Peyton went 16-0 also?

Not even close, GO BRONCOS!

Indy can never lose too much as far as I'm concerned.

I never root for the Colts to win. Not ever. Okay, maybe a little that one time during their SB with the Bears. But I didn't mean it. At all. But my Indy friends were having the SB party. With food. Delicious food. And of ****tails. Lots of ****tails. And even then I pretty much just mumbled something about AFC loyalty and 2nd hand revenge on the Bears for the 86 SB. So, that doesn't count, right? Right?! :help:
