When the game was winding down, they showed a shot of Welker sitting alone and visibly angry and he was muttering something, not sure whom it was directed at. Of course the man has every right to get angry.

He played his heart out but only to watch the game slip away like this ! I'm not sure what kind of thought process will be running through his mind after these kind of games.

Re: Welker looked pissed !

I'd be pissed too if I was a 5'8 ball of pure heart and my team was 7-5 even though I gave it all, and was underpaid too.

Welker can't single-handedly win a game for us, there is no more he can do to improve his play. He tries to single-handedly win games, but this team needs to win with others stepping up too.

At the rate this team keeps using Welker's body the past 3 years, he is going to have to retire after the season.

He should be angry. He put his body on the line on multiple occasions today only to watch this defense piss his effort away. I would be heated as well.

Re: Welker looked pissed !

The whole team looked shelled shocked. They showed the pats bench when the dolphins where marching up the field in the 4th (Pats were still winning by 2 at that point) and if I did not know any better I would think the pats were losing.

Re: Welker looked pissed !

I think the whole team was pretty pissed off, not just Welker...

Can't help wondering if he's more angry with his teammates and coaches on offense pissing his effort away. He'd have every right to be. Say what you want about the D but they put in a decent shift second half and gave the offense numerous chances to seal the game.

For some unknown reason, Law Firm was smiling at something. I really didn't see anything to smile about the way they played today

Re: Welker looked pissed !

Actually it looked like Welker was the only guy ticked off-- Everyone else looked indifferent. Do these players care about Super Bowls anymore?

Are you serious with your posts tonight?

That is exactly what I was thinking about too and that shot focussed on Welker for quite some time. Poor Wes, if not for him I can only imagine where we will be today :mad:

They showed a shot where Faulk was walking up to the Lw Firm and Moss verbally pissed off and walking away, with #42 with a big grin and moss not looking amused...

I smell the locker room falling apart...

Sometimes you laugh when you are pissed.

They lost a heartbreaker. Reading into body language, especially in that situation, is really kind of a waste of time.

Did you expect to see him doing the chicken noodle soup dance or something? Of course the guy's going to be pissed after that ****

They will get over it by Tuesday, then they will focus on the next game like they always do. Too bad that isn't working this year.
