Brady: at times ‘I don’t think we fight very hard’

That's what it looks like to me too.

Not sure if he was trying to blame any particular player or unit, but the offense has to score points when you are only up 2 with a quarter left to go.

Tommy always tells the truth.

he blamed the offense entirely for scoring just 2 pts.

Guess what tom, I don't see the FIGHT IN YOU. Your beginning to be the pouty Peyton on the sidelines

I think Tom should show some emotion for a change and start headbutting his teammates again like he used too. I miss that firey Brady of yesteryear and think the team could use some pickmeup from their field general right now.

I love how perfect everyone on this board is. Never made a mistake. Guy comes on and says what everyone is thinking, and calls himself out in the process, and people still can't get enough. Another reason the east coast sucks. No support for anything. Just a bunch of people that think they know everything.

I personally think that's partly a DIG at Moss myself.
Moss just doesn't seem to REALLY get after it anymore(Like Aiken did), and most times loses the battle for the ball.....
I always find myself saying " If Moss had Welkers desire, he'd be unstoppable"

Tom has to stop forcing it in there as well........

Yeah, who's fault is this? He is the quarterback and the emotional leader of this team right now. The days of Vrabel, Seymour, McGinest and Harrison are long gone. He has to pick up the slack to properly motivate this team.

The defense actually made a ton of stops, they showed some heart today in the last 25 minutes.

Can't blame them for giving up a FG after 25 minutes of defense.

If you think this is an east coast thing, you should feel free to read the message boards of other teams.

That's also the way I interpret the statement, but YMMV.

However, the real question is, what will be done to address these apparent effort issues?

I really hate to say this, but my first reaction also was that this -- and Welker's comment about everyone needing to look themselves in the mirror to see if they really wanted to be here -- was a dig at Moss as well.

I really don't know why I have that gut reaction, but I do.

What are you talking about? He shows no emotion on the sidelines. He doesn't pout at all!

Very true. Moss doesn't like working hard for things he should have gotten easier/better. Moss needs to play with more desire. Aiken turned an INT to a TD

Probably nothing.....he's had a rep of this in the past, whether deserved or not I dunno, I just see what I see and it's not always the tough battle I feel it should be..nevermind that UGLY attempt at a block

What a crock of ****, but about the norm for you. Brady was getting beat like a pulp today and still making plays. We don't have anyone on this offense besides him and welker and faulk, though his age is showing, who fight through all manner of **** to make a play. Moss doesn't. Aiken is a JAG, they do what they can inconsistently which is why they are JAGS. The OL is inconsistent. The TE's are MIA or blocking. Beyond Welker the receivers don't get seperation consistently or quickly enough for the QB to find them without getting his body slammed into the ground. The defense loses focus and pats itself on the back too easily against teams determined to go 4 downs. I watch teams every week make plays I wish we could...consistently. Receivers catch balls in incredibly tiny windows because they have to. Here unless guys are wide open in blown coverage it's a crap shoot. I see guys smiling and jawing and high fiving on the sidelines or looking sheepish like they hope nobody's expecing more from them. Brady isn't among 'em.

They should have scored 24 today and could have had 31 easily. On the road, on short rest, in the division. And they should have given up less than 20. But that would require better execution and determination and decision making than we are getting consistently across the board from the HC on down.
