simple, give as many names as u want ( i doubt thatll prove an issue this week)

which player, from the patriots, do u feel came to play to miami....and then tell me why....if its a play vivid in your memory, recount that, if its just some good things u noticed today, explain em a little bit

ill put aiken out there, fighting for the ball, and real nice effort on that long ball where he had to dive....one of many brady overthrew today

sammny too, he made something out of nothing in some plays

thats it.....

also, lets keep this thread about ppl who did good, not bat, just cuz then it gets too out of focus

Wes Welker: he might brake the single season reception mark. That is why.

Everyone else on offense can GFY.

The o-Line except Kaczur. Welker, Morris, Maroney, Faulk, Aiken, Wilfork, Banta-Cain, Bodden and McG.....
That's about it.

Welker, of course... Aiken, but he had a shot to make a tough catch on the final drive and couldn't come up with it. Sammy Morris ran hard and looked good on the screen game. Hanson deserves a nod for a few solid kicks (including the one at the end third quarter that pinned the Dolphins deep)... probably a few others that I'm too annoyed to remember...

add mayo and butler to that list

Brady wasn't too bad a few poor decisions but was still good.

I couldn't see the game today, but how did Meriweather play?

Does showing up mean you didn't have a bad game? I don't see how Butler showed up. He was there but.....

Maroney could thrive if the coordinator actually gave him more than a dozen touches all game.

if we didn't have him there bess would have had 2 more td's I remember him making a good few tackles 1 on 1

Welker is the teams MVP, by far.

I agree, he seems to stick on receivers quite often.

Bodden, Butler, McGowan, Meriweather is a solid 4 for the future. The Front 7 on defense is a total mess though.

Who showed up?

McGowen, Butler, Wilfork, Merriweather, Maroney and Welker.

Totally agree. Welker has been the best player on the team all season long. And it's not even close. Huge huge drop off after Wes as far as effort/performance.

wilfork? wilfork had about 2 impressive plays....and im sure the rest of the time he did OK

banta cain?

im sorry, but when someone says we didnt get pressure on henne....that is a GREAT understatement....we might as well not have rushed anyone, and have had 11 db's on the field...would have prob done better

i would not put ANYONE from the d-line OR lb corps on this list

and i would NOT put meriweather, chung, bodden, wilhite or even butler on this list either

and ohh yea, not sure how i forgot welker...

and no to the O-line, b/c it couldnt open up holes, running game got stuffed

and hell no to tom brady, henne outplayed him, he missed deep at LEAST 3 times

I think almost all the players showed up to play today, and I dont mean that facetiously. I think what didn't show up is coaching --- and specifically on offense where the offensive line has to consistently defend against players who know that a pass is coming because we wont run the ball (or even mix it up with screens or draws once in a while). We've got a good line, but its gets put at a tremendous disadvantage when the defense knows a pass is coming and can simply tee off, time and time again. And along the same lines, the opposing defense knows we will pass to Welker and Moss, and pretty much no one else, certainly not a tight end.

So yeah I think the players mostly showed up, but they weren't put in good positions to excel.

I second that. He got 9 touches in the first quarter and only 12 overall (according to Zo on 5th Qtr). He seems to get stronger throughout the game when left in there, like in the '07 AFCCG (against the Chargers). How would anyone know for sure?
