Why don't we fire BB and his coordinators just cut Brady and Moss they are clearly no good and need to go. Lets look at getting a better D they can't stop the run so we can let big vince go trade away mayo since the run isn't being stopped we can get rid of the RB's we have and draft a power back who has a short career keep Faulk since he is the only one who is any good. we can get another young corner since what we have now will never be able to do anything worthwhile. we can get rid of Kaczur he does nothing for us we could move Wes Welker there at least he won't just turn and let people through find some rookie in the 2nd-3rd round to play LT to protect Michael Vick next year after all he has a a good day today.

You have to admit that O'brien needs to go...

I love howsome of the overly-defensive people here don't understand that you're not either "for" or "against" this team. You can have major issue with the direction that it's taken while still supporting it. Especially when you've been vocal about those same issues since before the decline even began on the field.

Yeah let's move the franchise to Salt Lake City, join the AFL, and rename the team the Utah Blur.

Excellent post. This would allow us to make loads of Dan Snyder-inspired FA pickups and win the SB like Washington are going to do this year.

Except that it's not really a "decline." They're losing a lot of games by not finishing, and in large part because of a lot of bizarre playcalls.

With the exception of the Saints game, you can't point to any of those games and say that the Patriots couldn't have won. Maybe they didn't win, but that's not the same thing at all.

The OP sounds like a Al Davis managed organization.

My point is more how we are a winning team leading a division good chance to make the playoffs and people are calling for the heads of some the players and staff that have made this team one of the most feared for a decade. I do not disagree that we need to make changes but it's not like we are a bad franchise such as the raiders the lions or bucs we just need to have the coaches asses what they have been calling and most of the problems will be sorted if they can't change it by the end of the season then we should look at getting rid of them but there is no use in doing it now there is not enough time for new staff to make changes.

The Pats are not great, and they're not bad. They are Just Another Team, which is really sad.

I dont think its crazy to say that Belichick needs to go home and look in the mirror and do a MAJOR gut check. Over the past 5 years he hasn't been able to admit he needs help. The defense has cost us Championships and not having a pass rusher has cost us MANY games. This teams needs a NEW defensive coordinator BADLY. They need a legitimate pass rusher BADLY and Belichick needs to stop outsmarting himself immediately.

This part of your statement surprises the hell out of me. Since when do NE fans take solace in the fact that they were only blown out of one game?! Don't sell yourself short and let the organization off the hook. The team IS in a decline this year, and the organization won't change **** if they don't feel the heat from the fans.

Have you seen Brady play this season?

Brady has been off too, but the problems are way bigger than brady. We've had YEARS to get this defense up to par and its frustrating to see how many draft picks, free agent signings etc that DONT work out, while passing by players that do. Or the old, "Belichick's defenses are TOO COMPLICATED to draft Player A or player B" If that's the truth, lets dumb the defense down to a level that other teams are using so we can draft the players to make a difference. How many championships might we have right now if not for the D letting us down?

-OC AND DC need to go. PERIOD
-No pass rush, one of THE worst in the league
-Brady throws for 300+ but gave away the game multiple times.

so ******* frustrating to watch. Just kept giving it away to Miami. Had every chance to put it away and they did everything to keep Miami in the game.

Couldn't agree MORE! I almost feel like belichicks ego needs to come down to earth and just admit he needs HELP. A GOOD OC/DC on this team, even as currently situated, would make a WORLD of difference. Brady shouldn't have even been in the position to have to win that game. Besides WILFORK, we dont have 1 stud on defense(And i'm purposely leaving Mayo off that list).

The Brady endzone pick is the really frightening one. I'd love to hang it on frustration, but that doesn't make any sense, a touchdown there seals the victory.

When he threw that pick in the endzone we weren't even surprised though were we? That's what is really terrifying.
