In 2004 the paTs lost to the dolphins in december with a late brady int and won the super bowl...... Haha jk i bet some moron was going to start this thread seriously.
Shame all around, bb needs
to revamp this staff, get a real personal guy. Brady has always had the d to cover his mistakes.

2003 afccg he throws a pick in the red zone. Panthers super bowl throws a
pick in the redzone. 2005 against the broncos throws a pick to bailey in the red zone.
2006 throws a picks to end the game against the colts

they are so bad every second half how can everyone not see this is a HUGE issue.

I hope BB has not gone shanahan on us.

Number 1 this is not 2004

This team falls apart in the second half...

Belichick is now under the microscope more than anytime in his carrer...

You ARE an optimist. :)

Too many fans are living in the past rather than the now and using past justifications to make themselves feel better and be hopeful of a Superbowl run. The Patriots are a shadow of the earlier part of this decade.

The only silver lining today is that Houston's quarterback got hurt.

D no one catch the sarcasm

With the title as "The silver lining"? yeah right.

try keeping it within two lines and maybe we will get it irrespective of your misleading title.

all those logged in are busy venting their anger and spend barely a second to scan the posts.

There is NO silver lining. This team is not very good.

Brady was great in those years, but he also had a defense that knew how to shut teams down in the 2nd half.

Please spare me the silver lining threads...BB needs to go IMO.

lol looks like nobody is actually READING the OP

OMG how is it that raiders fans can think they are still great and will bounce back anytime while the truth is the are awful and we can lead our division loose 3 games and press the dooms day button?

The silver lining is if this team keeps going this way, they'll have to do something to change it. Clearly something isnt working.

Looking for the silver lining is nothing by deny what you are seeing happen right before your eyes... Open them up, this team doesn't have the heart, or passion to play like the teams of the recent past...

No silver lining, this team is uninterested in fighting for wins.

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Best joke I've heard in a while, who is your choice to replace him?

Anyway, there is no silver lining. This is a team that is in the early stages of a major transition on defense and at the end of it's life as we know it on offense. They are not very good right now, simple as that. There will be a lot of changes between this year and next. I expect a good number of old faces to be gone and a number of new ones at training camp next year. We are in a down period right now as Belichick revamps the team, be happy we are still competitive while we are rebuilding. Give it some time and watch out...

yes, but as I pointed out earlier, the TITLE of this thread is in poor taste given the depressing time and so is like a red flag for the angry fans bent on venting their ire. No wonder none of them read the op.

We can't play a full game on either side of the ball. Brady also seems a little out of it. That fire just doesnts seem to be there.
