You have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds, USE THEM ALL AND DO NOT TRADE INTO NEXT YEAR.

You're right, this has to stop. They continue to trade out when when the players are there and delay the rebuilding process of this team. This defense has been in transition since '05 and they still can't find a combination that works in the secondary. Lastly, BB and the front office are lazy when it comes to improving the pass rush.

And you draft offensive and defensive linemen with all of them.

Why not trade if you can get a better value later on?

Don't we have like 10 rookies on the roster anyways how much more do you want???

This is the thing I don't like about BB. Get the talent that is available to you instead of stockpiling picks and bringing in journeymen who do nothing to improve the team.

Id like to add something. The pats better hire an offensive coordinator. Whoever is doing the playcalling is clueless. Im sitting there, watching the game, predicting the plays before they happen. Who out there was thinking to themselves that the pats would go ultra conservative in their playcalling in the second half. Which they did and hence, they went three and out..and lost the game.

I have no problem with trading picks for higher picks the following year. what i do have a problem with is trading down in the same draft for more picks in said draft. BB has gotten value on a bunch of jags

I want the Pats to use trade their 2011 picks if they see someone they need....Moss and Brady are not getting younger or better.

We need a pash rusher in the worst way.

Team is bad not many rookies in the 2nd round that can help the team the way they desparately need it. Get Peppers on board, stop wasting money by extending jokers like pill popper kaczur n James whiffer sanders.

I agree but bet we trade the 1st back and one of the 2nd. Nothing will change imo.

The Pats need to improve 4 of their front seven on defense in the offseason (assuming they resign Wilfork and if not then 5). Right now, the only starters they have are Mayo (I will assume he will rebound next year after he completely heals), Warren, and Wlifork. I don't care how they replenish the two OLBs, ILB, and DE positions, but they need to figure out a way. It is the lack of a pass rush of any sort that is killing this defense.

I think the offense can correct itself if it isn't asked to win games for the team on a regular basis. They could do that with an excellent OC like McDaniels, but O'Brien has a lot of growing to go to get to that level.

I don't care how the Pats acheive this goal, but they need to do it whether it is through free agency or the draft.

We occasionally have 10 rookies, with a lot of them being 5th to 7th rounders who may or not make the team at all and are a long shot to contribute. I'm suggesting that we

And you draft offensive and defensive linemen with all of them.
Well, we need a pass rush among the linebackers too. No offense to TBC but it's downright scary to think of him as our #1 pass rusher. Maybe we can also get a competent runningback under the age of 32.

I don't think it's necessarily a problem with our past drafting that we kept switching picks to next year but there are some very, very obvious holes on the roster and where it made sense to save some picks for the next year before, we're deficient enough talent-wise that I'd like to see us use all these accumulated picks. No matter what we'll have an extra pick in 2011 anyways.

Value is a completely overrated and skewed concept. If we pick a guy in the second round and he sucks, he's worthless no matter where we took him, and the pick is worthless because it was wasted on him. Belichick has passed up a lot of players in order to get so-called value. If he took a player who can contribute in the present draft, he doesn't need loads of value in the next because that's one less hole in the roster.

they did everything they could to lose the game. ******* pathetic.

Patriots need pass rushers and should use their picks to trade UP to get at last 1 pass rusher.

How about that kid Suh from Nebraska? 4.5 sacks last night alone, against Texas.

Who cares? And what's "better value" later on?

We have big holes on this team on both lines and in terms of the pass rush. What can be "better value" than fixing those holes?

We already have 2 2011 1st round picks. This draft should be extremely deep, with plenty of talent who can plug those holes. Use them.

1. SIGN PEPPERS
2. RE-SIGN BODDEN
3. TRADE UP TO DRAFT SAM BRADFORD
4. DRAFT/SIGN A SOLID WR
5. RESIGN WILFORK
6. FIRE THE COORDINATORS! (bring in someone, ANYONE with good coordinating experience)...

Thank you. Someone who gets it!
