I think there is a good shot we'll see an 18-0 vs. 18-0 in the big one. If that happens, I hope the Krafts take the 16-0 banner down.

I can see the Colts losing before the season's end, especially since they don't have much to play for.
I can see the Saints going undefeated because the Vikes are pushing them, and because they have a favorable schedule. Next week's Skins game is about the only 'not good' weather game left on their schedule as well.

The fans should take it down....and burn it. Also, I love how nobody in the media is talking about NO or Indy going undefeated. Where's the intense, laser like media focus on those teams and the ensuing crushing pressure it creates?

The Saints are a better bet, they should coast to 16-0. The Colts I'd give a 65% chance of 16-0 as well. Both teams have pathetic schedules the rest of the way and both teams are damn good.

That said, I doubt both make it to the Super Bowl and wouldn't be surprised if neither won it.

There's the distinct possibility New Orleans can do it. The Minnesota Vikings will give them one hell of a shout though. Both dome teams, both high powered offenses with game changing defenses. I'd love to see this as the NFC Championship game.

The Colts, well they have holes left right and centre in their team. It's odds on unless we get our act together soon that they may meet the Chargers (yuck), who are running hot at the moment in the AFC Championship game and appear to be the two best in the AFC. That said, they keep on winning.

It's griping viewing, and if someone has to do it, I hope it's the Saints.

Well, I think this is about the time we started hearing it. About a game or two after the Colts game that year.

And I really can't imagine it brings that much pressure, every team knows that they are undefeated. I've already heard a few players from both the Colts and Saints mention it in interviews.

The Dolts will never make it, the reffs will run out of flags to throw before the dolts come close to the SB.

There's zero doubt it adds pressure to a situation where there's already plenty. They can talk about it all they want. Our guys talked about it in that same matter of fact tone in 2007. But in the end, it mattered. They wore down and part of it was from the pressure of maintaining something that really at the end of the day didn't matter. The only saving grace for Indy and NO from that is they have company. But that could cut both ways.

The Saints probably will

No one took it seriously until the Saints steamrolled the Pats. I think many (most?) thought the Pats would unseat one of the 2 undefeateds. Now they have overcome us, it'll be THE topic the rest of the way.

LOL, I really do hate that banner.

Isn't that the reason behind the NFL discussing the idea of supplying every Colts player with his own flag?

The way we ran the ball on the Saints, I can't imagine that they'd beat Minnesota. Not to mention Minn has a D that shows up the correct stadium.

Why does everyone hate the 16-0 banner? We were the first to do it. I get that we didn't finish the job, but that doesn't mean we should sweep that season under the rug.

The PI against the Texans was HEINOUS. Way worse than the inexplicable call against Butler.

I don't think anyone is going 19-0 this season. The Colts are fortunate to be any better than 7-4 or 8-3 right now, the Saints have looked bad against the Dolphins and the Rams to name two teams. The one thing in both teams favor is that neither has played (or will play) anything close to the schedule the Patriots played in 2007: Chargers, Steelers, Eagles at home, at the Ravens and at the Giants and more significantly huge showdown games on the road against the Cowboys and Colts.

I kinda hope someone does go 19-0 just to see Mercury Morris slit his wrists.

I'm all for a Saints 19-0 season if that means the end of hearing Mercury Morris and Don Shula.
