Vollmer being out makes me sad =(

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

NFL was right..I was wrong..they had Morris as Active

How about you edit your list to correct it?

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

brace is also inactive...as is seau...are more DB's active in this game ?wouldve liked to see springs...he was such a big news offseason signing but havent seen much

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

I am surprised Edelman was lower on the list than other WRs. Probably because he doesn't play special teams and Stanback can challenge the CBs more which is a big weakness of the Saints right now. Well, at least Edelman can come in during the 4th quarter without deactivating Brady or Hoyer.

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

Its all done.

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor,

Actually, they didn't. For some reason he is on their list, but listed as "Active".

Actually, they did. They have 9 inactives. You only need 8; their other 8 are correct.

Not to belabor the point, but this is what they have for Morris:

Sammy MorrisRBActiveMorris was a serious question mark entering this game, but will play

They listed 9 players, but only 8 inactives. I guess they assumed he would be inactive and then listed why he was active.

I'm only going by what the poster quoted here, and that had Morris in the same list as the other inactives.

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

Damn, bummer Edelman is inactive. The Saints weakness is the bottom part of their secondary, and without Edelman they really don't have much to exploit it.

Maybe Watson has a big game?

Jarvis being back is BIG.

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

cool, Morris is back, so we have a 3 headed running attack....

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

ummm OK, its official

one of our primary concerns next year is a #3 WR for Brady...this offense went from record setting to just great b/c they dont have a quality #3 wr

also, wth springs?

hes our highest paid corner if im not mistaken, and hes played like 3 games, and been inactive the 2 most important games for a cb....i want to know why

our O line is back, thats good, morris is back, hopefully Maroney still runs like he has recently

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

This got touched on earlier, but I wanted to get a firm answer: Edelman can only play during the 4th quarter in tonights game?

Correct...

He can come in at any time, but if he plays before the fourth quarter both Brady and Hoyer automatically become deactivated.

That was what NFL list had, too. Only they listed him as active. The only active on the inactive list... so the posters mistake at a glance is understandable given the competitive nature of posting information on this board...

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

Vollmer's by far the biggest loss. I've grown so accustomed to us having a franchise LT in such a short time. Light is solid, but Vollmer is dominant. My favorite Pats offensive player after TB, Moss and Welker.

Re: Pats Inactives: Taylor, Vollmer, Springs, Seau, Arrington, Brace, Ohrnberger, Ede

Vollmer out bad, but Light back good. Hope he doesn't look rusty. We are going to need to score a LOT of points to beat the Saints in New Orleans.

Competitive? Who said? :D

Well, SeaBass is a beast and we all know he'll be a fav for years. But let's face it, Light is probably the best back-up we have at just about ANY position. I'm okay with this substitution.
