Tougher of the next two games - at Saints or at Dolphins?

On paper and on record the Saints are far superior than the Dolphins but that does not neccessarily mean the Saints will be harder to beat on the road then Miami in regards to New England.

Miami as a whole knows the Pats better and seems to play them tougher at home then any other team in the NFL regardless of how many wins they have...in 2004 Miami had 2 wins and NE had 2 losses but Miami beat them anyway on MNF.

While the Saints game should provide some offensive firework explosions,other then Randall Gay and Dave Thomas,they do not know this team very well.

Which game in the next 2 weeks looks tougher to win?

Hopefully we can win both...

The saints is the only possible answer. Especially now that Ronnie Brown is done for the year, I'm not worried about Miami at all.

That said, it's rare that a road Monday Night team "gets" to play on the road the following week also and that's what we face at Miami.

I noticed that too. Not fair. Anway, the Saints might be a tougher match than Indy was, never mind Miami. That offense is scarey good and I think we'll learn a lot about our defense this week.

Is this a joke? A 10-0 team or a 5-5 team that we already beat that just lost its best player? Really? I agree that the Dolphins will be a challenge, and any given sunday, and all that, but there is no defensible reason to say that the Saints aren't a bigger challenge.

Saints. Yes, the Dolphins can beat the Panthers without Ronnie Brown, but can they do that with the Pats? They lost Ferguson for the year in that game too and he was one of their best defensive players this year.

Saints are by far the toughest. I think they will be a tougher challenge then even the Colts. I live in Louisiana and the Saints are preparing for this game like it was their Super Bowl. The Saints are a much more complete team then the Colts. Yes the Colts have Manning, who is better then Brees but the Saints have a running game with all 3 backs sharing the load.

I'll be honest, the Saints have not played a great "team" yet.

Giants-Haven't played anyone good before they played the Saints, they got exposed.
Falcons-Matt Ryan gave the game to the Saints on a silver platter
Eagles-McNabb was out

That's really it, Saints have lucked out playing at home against the tougher opponents. Schedule makers really helped them out this year.

I can see this upcoming game could go either way to be honest. I really think it leans all on the Pat's secondary, they need to play at their absolute best. Also keep some kind of pressure on Brees, even if the Pats get up a little bit. Do not stand back like they did against the Colts. Saints, have yet to play against a great QB this year as well. Interesting to see how that Greg Williams D does against Brady.

Saints in a runaway. Diversified high-power offense. Defense that has holes, but does have a pass rush (much like Indy). Team that plays great 2nd-half football, unlike the uneven Pats after halftime.

Miami lost its best RB, has no real threats at WR and a promising QB who isn't quite there yet. Pats have already seen the WildPat, so they won't be caught offguard. On D, Miami is banged up and doesn't have the horses to keep up with Moss and Welker.

My main concern for the Dolphins game is the short week combined with the back-to-back road games. Not a good mix, IMO. My lesser concern is the Pats taking the Dolphins lightly and playing down to them. I thought they did this to some degree in Foxboro so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Saints... by a long shot. This Miami team is nothing like the pre-2007 Dolphins teams. Their ONLY ability to win games recently has been the wildcat. Ronnie Brown is now out for the season and the Pats look like they have mastered defending the Wildcat. Now the Dolphins have to win by a conventional offense, but the simply can't. They have a good enough running game, but without any passing offense, (coupled with a mediocre to bad defense) they simply aren't very good right now.

The Saints are the best team in football right now.

the saints by far they are a better team then the colts and they have some play maker's at DB the colts dont have that bacuse of injury

and will smith has 9 sack's they will be a hand full

the pats will have to play a 60 min perfact game to beat them

at the fish will not be a cake walk they still have ricky williams and joey porter will try to bring he's A game




but at 10-0 saints vs at 5-5 fish there is no Comparison

These are both tough games and important for slightly different reasons.

The Saints game is tough because they're undefeated, hungry and playing at home against the decade's dominant team before a national audience on a Monday night. That's a big "Well, duh." The Dolphins game is tough because they always play us tough, no matter what our respective records, especially in Miami.

The Saints game is important because at some point we have to show we can win a game on the road against a quality opponent, as that is what we're most likely going to have to do to get to the SB. In case you haven't noticed, none of the teams we've beaten this year has a record above .500 this morning. The Dolphins game is important because we don't want to let them hang around until December when anything can happen.
