Cin is 5-0 in div, so unless they lose more games, they have the advantage.

I was thinking about this too, but SD beat Denver who we lost to. If we beat the Texans, we should have it over Cincy, but what if both teams have lost to an equal amount of common opponents?

The division champion with the third-best record.
The division champion with the fourth-best record.
The Wild Card club with the best record.
The Wild Card club with the second-best record.

Conference standing is only the 4th determinant.

If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs

Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
Strength of victory.
Strength of schedule.
Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.

Would you replace all the bold divisions with CONFERENCE when you are trying to figure a CONFERENCE tie-breaker? or is still just Division record anyway?

Not for division winners... that is only to determine the division winner.

Actually, it says that to determine home-field priority among division titlists, apply Wild-Card tie breakers. Under wild card tie breakers, it says best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference, then best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.

Therefore, NE has the #2 seed at the moment, and the seedings are not division-related.

I thought division only mattered in the division. From what I understood it goes conference record, then common opponents--but I certainly could be wrong.

As these games go on next few weeks Playoff senarios will change often. There no lock in wins. Steelers lost to KC ben got hurt you would think that was a win for steelers.
