Damn thought Morris would be back. With Aiken out, look for Edelman to step up today. Skins fans warned us about Springs....so fragile

Big blow with Stephen Neal. :( The blocking sucks so bad when he's not in there. Even more suprised with Aiken. Sounds like a healthy scratch. Apparently, BB liked what he saw with Stand Back! last week. Hopefully they give him a better number.

Good to see TBC will be active. We're going to need his pass rushing abilities. I will put a hole in my wall if we make Sanchez look like an all-pro again today.

Ohrenberger is active, as I predicted.

Aiken is not a healthy scratch. He was injured last week.

This list is amazing
Two freakin pages worth of broken bodies
Just once I would love to see the Pats at full strength
JUST ONCE

That is a lot of key injuries...

Yep. Now that Neal is gone, we get the privilege of watching Kaczur get blown off the ball time and time again.

Then why did the Patriots give him a 4-year, $16M extension in August?

Look in the offseason. 3rd round picks don't count.

We have 10 DBs active for the game, with Springs on the inactive list again.

Locket and Arrington are looking like solid contributors. I can see letting Shawn Springs and his $3M contract go after this year, and trading James Sanders and his $3M contract. With young, cheap guys contributing and those guys stuck well down on the depth chart, the money can be used in better ways elsewhere.

I have no idea. Guy had a terrible game last week though and it only got worse when Neal was out of the game. I hope he does well. I just don't think he will. Maybe you can explain to me how Kaczur had such a good game last week (Mathis: 6 tackles, one forced fumble, 2.0 sacks)...

I never said he had a good game last week. But he's had a good season to date and obviously the Pats saw enough value in him before the season to extend him at starter money, even after drafting another OT starter. You're letting one game against an elite rusher cloud your overall judgment on the player.

No I'm not. He had terrible games last season too when Stephen Neal was out of the line-up. Should I mention Super Bowl XLII? It's entirely possible that having Neal in the line-up covers up for a lot of Kaczur's inconsistencies as a RT.

If he had terrible games then why did the Pats extend him? The extension would seem to validate his performance before 2009; his 2009 performance is what's up for debate.

Gotta say that so far he is looking very good. Hope it continues.
