Tennessee Titans defensive back Cortland Finnegan has been fined again.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Finnegan was fined a total of $10,000 for two separate violations during Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills. One infraction was a major facemasking penalty in the second quarter, and the other was a late hit in the third quarter.

It's the second consecutive week that Finnegan has been fined by the league. Last week Finnegan was fined $5,000 for facemasking 49ers running back Frank Gore.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck was also fined, getting docked $7,500 for a horse collar tackle on Bills running back Fred Jackson.

They have always been a dirty team imo. I'm glad we whipped there butt.

Re: Dirty Titans fined again

Very dirty, Rodney Harrison a couple years back got injured from a chop against them didnt he?

Re: Dirty Titans fined again

I still contend that if they have Rodney for the AFCCC in 06, they beat the Colts.

Agreed. RH was definitely a game changer. Opposing offenses had to account for his where abouts in their game plan. Just look at Pats/Steelers AFCG where he stepped in front of TE ran back INT for like 70 yds. He also Iced Victory VS Eagles with INT In SB 39 Off DM. They get it confused with hitting hard & aggresiveness but that Titans low blow.....literally was BS.

Yeek! I had almost wiped that game from my short term memory until last Sunday's game forced it back to the surface. If I remember, wasn't Eric Alexander forced to cover Dallas Clark over the middle for most of that game and that's when Peyton started going to him in the 2nd half?

Yep. :(

I'll say it now, and I'll say it again: Even though he's dirty, give me Cortland Finnegan on this team any day of the week.
