It didn't knock him off his feet but I'm sure it was less than pleasant. He literally didn't see it coming. I was sitting in the next section over and happened to glance over when it occurred.

The thing about Mad Elf Fireman is he's just as much about making a spectacle of himself as he is about genuinely cheering his team on to (rare) victory. There's a lot of narcissism in his display-behavior.

He's just indicative of the entire trash bag fan base. Just horrible human beings. The last patriots game at Giants Stadium (and the only one I'd ever go to again) I went to, I watched two Jet fans spend the entire game trying to light a guy on fire who's Brady jersey was hanging over his seat.

When I was there for the opening game in '07 wearing my Doug Flutie game jersey. A "Jets" fan walked up to me while I was in line at the concessions held out his hand to shake and nicely said, "Doug Flutie's kid has AIDS.", walked off and I saw several other "Jets" fans chuckling while the guy scurried away like a rat. I just shook my head and said, "typical".

That reminds me of a TV show that one of those New York based series did.. CSI-NY, or NY something, or some other crap like that.. they did this show about a QB who was a closet gay and killed someone to preserve that secret or something, and he was conveniently wearing #12.
