Shouldn't this creep be putting out fires?

You don't even know the half of it.

The Jets actually have this guy come in to practice to stimulate crowd noise, and have him hurling insults and epithets.

He looks like a very mean elf.

Blowhard wannabeastar

As far as I know, the angry elf has never been to Gillette.

I'll pay for his ticket. Heh.

Yeah.... he can come and tailgate with my crew! Not sure he'd make it into the game tho. Especially if he starts busting those girlie cheerleader moves out in the lot.

Looks to me like he's screaming "NOOOOOOO!"

That picture is photoshopped, very easy to tell. The Jets don't have Ed coming out at practice.

He does fight fires. What? You expect all Fireman to work 24/7, 365? Its called off days and he's a diehard fan. Nothing wrong with it. He generates crowd noise. Very good at what he does.

He's just indicative of the entire trash bag fan base. Just horrible human beings. The last patriots game at Giants Stadium (and the only one I'd ever go to again) I went to, I watched two Jet fans spend the entire game trying to light a guy on fire who's Brady jersey was hanging over his seat.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but I guarantee you that you will find crap like that going on at ALL rivalry games around the NFL, just as I guarantee you that that is a major league rarity done my drunk idiots. Don't let probably the 100 bad apples out of 78,000 ruin it for you.

thanks.......for the longest time I thought firefighters worked 7 days a week 24 hours a day. I'm sure glad you're on this board to set me straight.

Lol how about the friggin mongoloid whose shoulders he sits on. The guy reminds me of Lenny from of Mice and Men

Not at Gillette. Never, ever. People value their season tickets too much. I'll never forget the Green Beans game I went to at the Meadowlands a while back when a guy in a Pats jersey was walking up some steps and a Jest fan ran up behind him and sucker-punched him in the side of the head. This year the verbal abuse my buddy and I endured was ridiculous -- very mean spirited. You've really got a crappy fan base. And that siren they blare between plays is almost as irritating as Angry Elf Fireman.

What happened to the guy that did the sucker punching? Did he get kicked out?

Only Pats game I ever went to at the Meadowlands was the comeback victory in 2001 (thank you Fred Coleman and a great second-half defense). Nothing like hearing that crowd go quiet.

My God, I hope the Pats beat them.

No security around that I saw, I think he just went back to his seat. This brings to mind the fact that Gillette has the best security team I've seen at any NFL stadium -- and I've been to quite a few. I think the Krafts put a premium on good fan behavior and it's strictly enforced.

What did the sucker punch-ee do?

He just kept going because the coward who threw the punch ran away and disappeared. There was a ton of people going up and down those steps and he apparently was alone.
