Everyone knows that Adam is a Jets fan at heart and always gives the Jets a chance to win but this prediction kind of set me as a shock,Adam says the Patriots are looking for blood and the Jets are unfortunately the next victim.

Now if we hear the same thing from Mike Greenberg this week I will start to really think no one sees NY coming close to winning this weekend.

With that said I do expect the Jets to play inspired football for crybaby Ryan and be competitive throughout the game and don't expect an annihilation of a blowout but....

Don't you think that would have the effect of firing the Jets up? Therefore Adam remains a true Jets fan.

I think most of us are unsure what fires up the Jets....:D

Their losses would seem to be a source for revenge / redemption that Adam is alluding too for the Patriots, but it just hasn't happened for the JEST.

If Schein and Greenberg are in, I'm in. I always go with the former athletes. Where does Goldberg stand on the issue

Not gonna happen...........how often do division opponents get blown out? Not very often at all. Just give the Patriots the W and I'll be happy.

Picturing Greenberg as a DL -->

Greenberg's on the left. ;)

it will be a very close and the jets have a good pass defense. blowouts are rare in division games,

I don't think it's going to be a blowout (Pats win by 30+), but I do think we'll win by two touchdowns. Everytime someone in the media predicts a 30-40 point blowout, it doesn't happen. I guess it's just a weak attempt at a reverse jinx.

Just win the game. Coming off the brutal loss last week and going into the best team in the NFCs place next week this is basically the most important game of the year.

The Jets won last time, let's just focus on getting the W. Besides the Jets have a top 3 defense so it won't be and easy/blow out/revenge game like some have called it.

Why would wondering what a wrestler thought make a difference in this game?

actually Goldberg was a NFL player before becoming a wrestler.

edit: I just looked him up and he was on the practice squad most of the time.
he just made 11 tackles during his time in the nfl.

No less often than anyone else, actually.

The Jets are much worse than they were a couple weeks ago. The patriots are much better than they were a couple weeks ago.

I see a blowout.

Gotta hit this team early and knock whatever fight they have left out of them.

What their fearing here in NY is

A) Pats team is much different than game I was at week 2.
B) Pats remember all trash smack talk.
C) Mayo & Welker are back.
D) Rats are becoming same ole Rats.
E) By half time Wrecks signals for Kleenex, Sadchez signal hotdog vendor
F) ALL ABOVE

No Leon Washington takes away a serious ST/3rd-down threat. No Kris Jenkins means a little less push up the middle. Still, Jets will blitz like all hell and run the ball. I see the Pats taking it, but it won't get comfortable until late.

That's my prediction, which of course ensures a blowout. :)

How sweet of a moment would it be if the Pats are badly beating the Jest in the 4th quarter and the crowd starts up a "Rex" chant or "here's your Kleenex" or something alone those lines. :D

Mike Greenberg and adam schein dont play on sunday so they may think the pats will win by 30 but its not going to happen

the jets will play there best game of the season vs the pats

the pats will win but not by 30 i say they win by 7

Well, what's your basis for this insight? The fact that they're division rivals?

Apart from the fact that the Jets are hurting at a number of key spots, the Pats are (1)mad they lost a game in the last seconds they could have (and should have) won against a much better and much more important foe; (2)mad because they remember too well that loss in week 2 and it's accompanying trash talk by the New Yorkers; (3)simply better across the board.

You want to talk defense? Sure. The Jets are good (at least on paper), but so are the Pats. The Pats O is much more likely to sustain drives and keep the Jets D on the field for longer periods than vice versa. If the Jets O gives them a series of 3-and-outs, this will put a real strain on the NY defense, which will lead to real problems in the 4th quarter.

As for Rex Ryan and Kleenex tissue issue (!), it appears that over the course of the remainder of the season entire forests will have to die to sustain this man's moments of grief, as extended as they are.

Is it possible this is a classic "trap game", insofar as it is nestled in between 2 much more formidable foes? Of course, anything is possible! But all other things being equal, it's time to realize it's mid-season, with the playoff picture starting to come into focus, and given that, I'll take the Pats in that situation every time.

Every time!

And in this case, convincingly!!!

I hope the defense plays lights out and shuts out the Jets.

Then shuts out every opponent for the rest of the year.

But I'll settle for the Jets for now.
