Even though he played for our rivals I always liked him. While not a Great QB he seems like a nice guy and more like a Pats type player than a Rats player. Never heard anything bad about him.

Pennington not sure whether he'll play again - NFL - ESPN

MIAMI LAKES, Fla. -- Chad Pennington's latest comeback is under way, even though he's not sure he'll play again.

The Miami Dolphins quarterback has completed the first phase of rehabilitation from season-ending shoulder surgery, and he'll fly Wednesday to Birmingham, Ala., to consult with Dr. James Andrews, who performed the operation Oct. 2. They'll map out a program for the next six weeks, and Pennington said he may wait until March to decide whether to play in 2010.

"I can't make the decision until I get to the point where I see how I feel and how it responds," Pennington said at a Dolphins luncheon. "Then I can say I've given it everything I can give it to make the right decision for me and my family.

I've always liked him as well. He seems like a class act. I hope for his recovery.

I always had respect for him. He bled green for RATS and when he went down with an injury Rats applauded so clemmen Could come in. CLASS ACT. Funny thing though how Chad Knocked out Rats last yr.

Jets fans showed their colors when they cheered his injury while he played for their team.

Bummer Chad, I was hoping you'd come onboard to help groom Hoyer and Stanback.

He will be back...I doubt the fire in him is burned out yet. He needs to recover and get healthy and get with a team that can go somewhere so he doesn't have to claw and bite his way to victory again and again causing yet another injury.

I like Chad ... he seriously should consider being a QB coach if his career is over. A good place for him to start as i feel he has at least OC written all over him. When healthy his game management was impeccable.

He should be a Patriots backup QB :)
