It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Screw the Jets their just a lil road bump in the way, the Pats need to handle business against N.O on Monday night. Ill feel a lot more comfortable heading into the late season and hopefully playoffs knowing we beat one of the two elite teams we faced during the regular season.
Thoughts?

We need to take the season one game at a time. The Jets are actually more important since they're in the AFC East. The Saints will be another huge game though and the whole nation will be watching (and rooting against) the Patriots again. It would be sweet to hand the Saints their first loss on that stage.

We absolutely have to beat the Jets to maintain control of the division. That goes under the heading of "taking care of business". But that's all it is right now.
A win over NO on the road, on the other hand, would be the best way possible to get our mojo back.
If anyone watched the Saints play the Rams last week you could clearly see they were not really interested in coming full force and played just well enough to win the game,The same will probably happen when they play the Bucs this sunday so really its like a 2 game vacation for the Saints befOre they play NE
In the race for the playoffs and the division title the NO game is relatively unimportant. But in the big picture of being a bona fide SB contender I think the NO game is critical - in some ways our most important remaining game.
We need to prove (1) that we can beat a top team, and (2) that we can do so on the road, in a dome, in a pressure situation. Above all, if we get up on the Saints (and they have had to come behind numerous times this season) we need to show that we have the killer instinct and that we know how to finish. Those things are critical for our mojo heading into the home stretch of the regular season and priming for a playoff run.

the jets have the number one runing game in the NFL and are #3 in Total D
and they beat the pats once all redy i dont call that a bump in the road
a win vs the the saints a NFC team would be a big win but it would not help all that much as far as geting a higher seed in the playoff and to tell you the truth if they dont beat the jets they may not even make the playoff's
a loss to the jets would put them one game back of the pats and they would hold the tie braker trust me if the jets win it would give them a big boost and they would get on a roll and win the AFC east but if the pats beat the jets it will end there season
All good points but if the Pats go 12-4 and Cinci goes 11-5, the Pats get a bye and a home playoff game...
My point- They all matter. Every single one and don't think otherwise.
i agree ever win is a big win and it look's like san deigo is geting hot as will they will need to win them all to try to get the #2 or #3 seed
We can't look at any game as a "road bump," this is the nfl and anything can happen on sunday. I'd rather win all 3 remaining division games and get blown out by the saints
but I agree, screw the jets
