Rex Ryan sheds tears in team meeting | ProFootballTalk.com

According to Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post, Ryan cried during a Monday morning team meeting following Sunday's loss to the Jaguars.

"He didn't bash us at all; he was just very emotional . . . he was crying," tackle Damien Woody told Cannizzaro. "Rex believes in our team so much I can't even put it into words and it would be a shame if we didn't capitalize on our opportunity."

"I was a little upset to see him that way," cornerback Darrelle Revis added. "I'm upset for the same reasons he's upset. . . . I haven't been a part of a meeting where a coach cried like that. . . . In the future, I hope there are more tears of joy than the one this morning."

The Jets saga has taken a hilarious turn over the last couple of weeks. They really seem to be imploding!

They lose to Miami 2x then to the Jags!
Sanchez has a really bizarre press conference
They fire the DC
Rex Ryan is having a nervous breakdown (or he thinks fake crying will rally the team...)
Now they have to play the Pats. No one wants to play the Pats after a devastating loss. Just ask the Titans.

It was kerry Locklin, their d-line coach. Seemed like a mutual thing but who knows.

Hmm, their d-line didn't seem to be the problem. Remember, they are missing their best lineman in Jenkins, and I thought, Devito, one of the guys replacing him was the Jets best player on Sunday. On the other hand, their offense stunk, Sanchez stinks, Edwards can't catch, and their secondary make some poor decisions. And the d-line coach takes the blame?

Maybe he knows whats in store and is jumping ship as its going down?

I cannot wait to vent my frustration at Sanchez and Ryan on Sunday. The 1st time I'm wicked pissed that I sit behind the Pats bench instead of behind the Jets. Oh well.

I cannot wait to vent my frustration at Sanchez and Ryan on Sunday. The 1st time I'm wicked pissed that I sit behind the Pats bench instead of behind the Jets. Oh well.

Pats should win but I'm somewhat concerned about the Pats coming out a little flat. If you recall, in 2006 that Pats played an uninspired gave vs the Jets the week after losing a 27-20 game to the Colts.
