In Bill, I trust

There's no reason to not trust him. The Patriots are who they are because of BB and Krafty Bob.

The school of thought that says that we're better because BB says so and that BB spills soda on his pants because the opposing QB wasn't expecting it needs to stop though.

Oh my god, not again. I'll trust him when he wins the next super bowl.

In Bill I trust but I still don't think the Pats should have gone for it on 4th down. They should have punted. He also needs to get control of his coordinators and say knock it off with the conservative stuff. We are aggressive until there is no time left on the clock.

9 times out of 10 he is going to make a great decision. That's better than most HC in this league. I will take that every single time.

He is also one of the best game managers, unlike Andy Reid who I imagine infuriates his constituents frequently because he does have a talented squad.

Hold off making any judgment until the end of the season. If

the Patriots miss the playoffs by one game, then Bill's decision

may have ruined the 2009 season for the team and all of us.

The sad part of this situation was the timeout that occured just

before the play was run. If the Patriots had one timeout, they

could have challenged the spot. I think their challenge would have

resulted in a first down and a win.

This is all speculation. You cannot say if we dont make the playoffs by 1 game then BB's decision reuined the season, you just cant. One gutsy call by a coach cannot ruin a season. And the other point to your post, yes it would have been nice to have a time out be able to challenge it but I cant see them finding enough visual evidence to overturn that call. Yes, after looking at it hundreds of times it looks like it should have been a first down, but the ruling on the field was that he was short and I couldnt see the refs over turning that call. Please people, stop hating on BB's decision. His players have his back, so why cant his fans?

I will always trust Belichick. He's proven how great of a coach he is too many times for me not to. One call at the end of a game that was inches short of being successful certainly isn't enough for me to lose faith in him.

I love the fact that we have the coach with the biggest cajones in the league. Most coaches would have punted and then watch Manning march up the field. And Belichick, in the face of a lot of criticism and second guessers, sticks to his guns and doesn't back down from making his decision. He even says he would do it again. The thing I like best about BB, he couldn't care less about what critics say about him. He will do what's best for the team and if you disagree or don't like it, too bad. No wonder his players all love him.

We all trust BB, but he can make mistakes like anyone else. Luckily for us he makes less of them than all the other coaches in the NFL.

Nobody here is say that BB is finished or should go. We were just discussing one play and what makes it right or wrong.

Hard to tell, looking at a lot of the posts made since Sunday night.

Anyway, the entire point of this thread was to bring us all together. Fans are supposed to support the team through the thick and the thin. I want us to say "Good decision or bad, Bill...we have faith in you."

Yes, I agree........... How dare they let any of the other 30 teams compete for the title. This is the classic definition of an arrogant, spoiled NFL fan.

1- You didn't TRUST him with a perfect 07 season.
2- BB gambled with Cassel and LOST in 08.
3- He gambled Greg Lewis and Galloway and LOST.
4- He asked for 60 physical practices during TC. He emphasized on 'redzone, situation, and 2 min drill' during these practices. Our redzone ranking is nearly at the bottom. His situation and 2 min drill SUCK. How do I know?
5-He gambled 4 and 2 on Indy game with 2:15 to go and LOST.
6- Our pass rush doesn't exist from this point forward. Here is the guy who always think about the 2011 BUT he can't predict that our LB is so thin and our pass rush doens't exist after last sunday game.

BB needs to be hold accountable in the end.You can't have a good future when you have a sh!!!tty present. Frankly, i'm tired of hearing excuses from defense, offense, and bad draft picks when BB is in charge of the situation.

I'm willing to forget all of these horsh!ts IF we win a RING THIS YEAR. I mean this 2009 because i don't want to look at the past accomplishment when we fail to have another championship ring.

NO RING = NO GENIUE OR WHATEVER= BB'S ACCOUNTABILITY.

I trust BB, I just don't trust his team in the 4th quarters. They tighten up like virgins on prom night. Funny how he isn't afraid to take maybe the biggest gamble in Patriots history, but he continues the bend-don't-break defense that cracks on the road every time this year, instead of aggressive attack defense...Oh that's right, he doesn't believe in drafting edge rushers. Vent over.

Go jump on another bandwagon. You sound like a spoiled brat

We really don't need the 'anything less than winning the superbowl every year is unacceptable' nonsense either.

I"m a spoiled brat because i want to see another ring?
I'm a spoiled brat because I proved my points about BB?

I don't know what bandwagon you are on but would you please explain to me why our redzone sucks in this season even though we spent a lot of time practicing it during the training camp??????????

How about our experimental with 'freaky and speedy' Gralloway????

Putting me on your ignore list or saying what you are saying doesn't prove your point valid either. If it proves something, it only proves how ignorance you are.
