I'm still pissed!! :scream:

Lucky you that you are just pissed. I am still running plays through my head and can't sleep.
I got over the Eli show in a day, but this is lasting.

I know what you mean, that int and fumble in the red zone still has me shaking my head in disbelief.

LOL. Seriously. That was so depressing. So many little mistakes added up to that lost. And of course the super controversial call to go for it on 4th and 2 that is the biggest thread so far this week. It was just a crazy game and a terrible way to lose.

I didn't want to get up this morning

the fumble was actually the play Maroney ran last time he played at Indy. You see, Mankins is supposed to fall on it for the TD.

guys it's just one loss. sure it's to the colts, but the team can still go 13-3, win the division and secure a bye. And we've proven we can go to Indy and go head to head with the colts. If that was the best team in the league last night, I like our chances in january. we'll get green, warren, light, tully, ninkovich, taylor and morris back by then. if we win the super bowl, no one will care.

it's not because we lost

we got our asses handed to is by the Colts in the 4th. Sure we outplayed them through most of the game but when it mattered Peyton Manning sacked up, and won his team the game.

I agree. There are so many positives that can be taken from this game that people are over looking. Yes of course your going to remember the 4th quarter and the 4th and 2. What about the 1st 3 quarters when our young defense confused Manning and made some plays and forced a few 3 and outs? What about our O putting up 34 points against the leagues #1 defense in points allowed? Our D is young they need to learn how to close games, they will learn from this loss and not let it happen to them again.

Yeah I can't stop thinking about certain plays either. You know what guys, I think this same 4th down situation will find a way to re-appear in the AFCCG. Pats will have to make the same decision and BB will go for it and this time they will look for that crazy mofo Welker.

I actually had no problem going for it on 4th and 2. I believe either way we would have lost. Our D had shown nothing in the past 10 min to believe they could stop Manning. So going for it on 4th and 2 or punting it would have given the same result.

My only hope was that if we didn't make it on 4th and 2, that Manning would leave enough time for Brady to get to FG range.

What really killed me was the fumble on the 2 yard line. I mean, you just dont do that! Number 1 priority there is to protect the ball.

i cant watch sports center for a week now :(

The thing is Indy has been doing that ALL year so far. They play like **** till the 4th. We should have been aware of that and not been so conservative in the 2nd half.

I dont think Indy played like **** in the 1st 3 quarters. I think the Pats game plan'd and excecuted perfectly.

I'm convinced this loss was karma for the Bills game. Notice how that game went a similar way except in reverse? Team dominates the whole game then loses by one point becuase of a risky decision that backfires.
