Adalius Thomas dissing the coach

Yes, because getting rid of all the veterans after last season showed itself to be a tremendous decision last night.

Sounds like Adalius Thomas is not the only one with an axe to grind toward BB.

His coach, along with a bad call by an official, just cost his team a win (at least arguably... I'm not posting this to go through a complete revisit of the call). This is on the heels of him getting demoted/deactivated. Frankly, I'm surprised he was that nice about it.

Agreed, he was letting off some steam. I think when the team sweeps this loss under the rug all will be fine again.

I thought there was a chance that the team could use last night to rally around BB, much like Brady did during interviews. Adalius Thomas has made it clear that he won't allow this team to rally around BB.

Well, I want to make it clear that if Thomas wants to ***** then he should have done more to help us win. Two tackles and he was otherwise a ghost throughout the entire game.

I don't see what the big deal is. He is saying what every member of the defense is thinking. He didn't come out and say BB is stupid. I'm sure if Belichick thinks it's a big deal, he'll handle it accordingly.

The defense needs to prove it deserves the responsibility of winning a game. So far, they haven't done it.

REALLY!?!?!?

Who would have done better? They were stuffing Indy on D until they started going soft towards the end of the game.

Vrabel and Seymour, to name two pretty obvious examples. Also, if the team was so gassed, weren't players like Brace and Seau available?

I dont know what game you were watching last night? All of your posts have been absolutely ridiculous. Do you expect the Pats to win every game by 20+ points?

The Pats D played probably one of their best games of the year last night for 3.5 quarters against the best QB in the league. The gameplan was perfectly executed until the 4th when we changed to prevent mode. Our young secondary has been extremely fun to watch progress all year long and played outstanding last night. I dont think Vrabel, Seymour and whatever other veterans your refering to would have made a difference last night.

You think BB is gonna let this go with Adalius?

Why wouldn't he? You aren't saying that he'll have an axe to grind or anything, are you?

Seau would have made things 100 times worse. He is just too slow. He couldnt cover a RB out of the backfield or a TE. Seau is a run stopper, playing vs the Colts is not what he is suited for. He will play this week vs. the Jets

I wondered about Brace and Seau last night too.

I think having Seymour would have helped, but I really like having that pick.

Vrabel not so much. We don't need Samuel. Who else? Bru? nah. This D is good when they are playing the right defense.

If you don't see where having Seymour and Vrabel in the lineup to help out an allegedly 'gassed' defense might make a difference, you should probably not be making comments about the ridiculousness levels of anyone else's posts.

If any of the defensive players want to get upset about not winning the game they could have stepped up and made a play at any point in the 4th quarter.

I am. I think Adalius Thomas will be off the Patriots within 2 or 3 months and out of football within two years.

Seau could have played DE for all I care if it would spell the guys out there.

This is another point which I would like to see addressed. Can someone please tell me how or why the defense was so "gassed" considering that we held the ball for almost 36 minutes compared to the Colts 25 minutes? We DOMINATED time of possession. If the defense was so gassed, perhaps it's time to start cranking up the windsprints during practice.

Personally, I think that people are mistaking "gassed" with just playing some ****ty prevent defense. You could almost see Manning's eyes light up midway through the third quarter.

What would Vrabel have done? He's too slow to cover any of the Colts RB's and TE's. Seymour possibly could have put a little pressure on Manning, but both those guys arent on our roster so why are you even bringing them up? Why are you being so negative? We're 6-3 and in control of our division

You can't use "gassed" as an excuse to let Belichick off the hook when the team is light at those positions because of decisions Belichick made. Does the D-line get 'gassed' if Seymour is there and active instead of Brace? Does the linebacker corps get 'gassed' if Vrabel is in there to help with the depth, replacing guys like Ninkovich/Woods/Burgess?

As for Samuel, they sure as hell could have used him last night, although I wasn't referring to him since he wasn't with the team last year.

I thought it was pretty obvious the guys on the line looked smoked. Wilfork especially. The play calling really lightened up too. Wonder if it is connected or they were just trying to keep the ball in front of them. That doesn't really work against a fast, effective, throwing machine in a no huddle. They move just as quick as a long pass anyway. KEEP YOUR FOOT ON THEIR THROAT.

Manning's last 2 drives took only 2 minutes each.
