Shouldn't we hope that Baltimore loses, since they have more of a realistic shot at the playoffs?

I'm not sure ATM because I haven't really done the "math." And normally, I'd say yes anyway, but with what the Ravens have been bringing since the Pats played them, I don't even have them on my radar as a problem. :confused2:

BTW, I'm sorry for the older fans that witnessed the pats having seasons like one the Browns are having.

I'm not so old, but it wasn't much fun rooting for the Pats in the early 90s.

What Mangini is doing reminds me of that Monty Python sketch: "Confuse a Cat" except this time it's "Confuse the Personnel" with all that swapping he is doing.

Who could ever forget that bizarre first Jets vs. Pats game? I think everyone got wore out running to and from the field to avoid getting caught with the extra man penalty.

I remember 91. I remember one game the Pats came back and won a game in OT. I was thinking Hugh Millen was a good QB after that game. I was only 13 years old then.

And FTR, they were just saying that the Ravens are currently 4-4, 8th(?) in the conference and still have to play the Steelers twice. I think it's safe to say they're not seeing the playoffs this year. I think I'm also going to add Flacco to the list of QBs who indeed aren't the next TFB as mediots are fond of saying. So far that makes...

Ravens TD drive, followed by a pick 6 on Quinn. Then the Browns block the PAT. Ravens 13-0. Much head shaking and face making by Ratfinki. Delightful!
