4th and 1,2,or 3 with around 2 minutes left. Do you think Belichick would go for it, I think he would.

What if it happens again?
It happens every damn time the Pats play the Colts.... The Pats start strong, dominate, then give up a commanding lead in the second half.
Every ******* time... Since 2003.
Hey, it's like the Red Sox in the AL East.
Every ******** time... Since 2003.
Actually, I thought that was the plan behind going for it on 4th. It seemed like if they weren't going to convert the 4th down play, they'd intentionally let the colts score on the next play to give Brady and Moss the last word. I think the Packers did something like this in the superbowl against the Broncos when it was Elway and Favre.don't tackle Addai on the 1 with over a minute left to play. Let him get in so we can get the ball back in our guys had with a reasonable time to get down to FG range.
I don't think many of us actually thought the call was wrong, we were just upset that it A. didn't work, B. Looked like a First down, C. Was a seemingly bad ball spot, and D. We lost a 17 point lead in 5 minutes.
I don't think this situation will happen again (or at least with a 17 point lead). I really think BB will stop using a prevent defense and continue being aggressive in the end. If we did end up with a situation where it was 3rd and 2, I would hope he would call power-formation run and if it came up short, QB sneak or run again on 4th down. That pass attempt on 3rd and 2 killed us.
