I'll tell ya, these Patriot induced morning sicknesses are killing me. While this loss is in no way as devastating as the Super Bowl losses or the AFC Championship game a few years back, these huge losses are beginning to stack up.

While the Patriots body of work over the past nine seasons has been impressive, they are beginning to be remembered more for the HUGE losses instead of the super bowl wins we fans try to focus on.

I have never been a fan of the term "good loss", but this upcoming game against the Jets will be a test of that statement. The Pats Defense has officially been called out...and they need to step it up and close these games out.

ALSO...the defense needs to quit with the post play celebrations. Making a big play only to be flagged for unsportsmanship conduct is dumb...and shows lack of discipline. For this to be allowed to happen is evidence Bill is getting soft. I understand the league is more and more becoming the "No Fun League", but if you know you are going to be flagged, why do it...other than being selfish or not too bright.

I'm sure our morning sickness is nothing compared to the Patriots players...and the organization as a whole this morning, but it is what it is.

Yeah the unsportsmanlike conduct was a big headscratcher. Wish they'd have announced the # of the player the penalty was on so that we could get an idea of what earned the penalty. NBC's coverage certainly didn't elucidate much of anything.

It was Bodden and Chung wasn't it? From what I read Chung pretended to take a picture of a posing Bodden or something like that.

Perfect example of how good the Pats have been for the last decade that we fans have been so spoiled. Try being a Detriot, Cleveland, or even Redskins fan...

I'd almost rather go into every game expecting a loss. it would make the wins that much sweeter. Not to mention I'm probably going to have heart attack from watching the Pats before I'm 30 with these close games and some heart breaking finishes

the fact that the jets lost to the jags in the last few seconds made the loss feel a lot better.

Yes, I had the Reiss live chat running during the game, and that's what he said. I wasn't paying much attention to the chat on the whole, but I specifically watched after that call to see if he would provide the info, which he did. Although, I think it might have been Butler "taking a picture," but I don't recall for sure now. Either way. I was less than thrilled about it, of course. I don't really agree with celebration penalties, but the noobs really need to learn that's just the way it is and DON'T DO THAT!
