Everything we used to say about the Colts in the early part of this decade is now being said about us.

Not just talking about the losses to the Colts and the Super Bowl. But, how often do we feel safe when we have a small lead late in the game. I think we all sweat it.

until TFB chokes in the playoffs on a continuous basis... this is an outrageous accusation.

I wish I could argue with you, but it does seem like in tight games the O or D does often let them down - especially against quality opponents. Anyhoo, I used to feel more confident in tight games, not that that's worth much. Actually I used to feel like any game the Pats were winning was a "W". No more. Maybe next year we'll feel like that again.

I'm babbling.

We just lost a tight close game where we went toe to toe with the best team in the NFL. Colts were favored by 3 and won by 1. Patriots outplayed the Colts. If you think the Patriots are chokers, you can jump off the band wagon.

I feel the Pats did choke this one away and that there's no way this team lost this game 5 years ago.

Exactly what I mean, I remember we used to be unbeatable with a second half lead, even when we had banged-up defenses. Lately I haven't even wanted to watch the last few drives in a game when its tight. And you can almost predict how these games are going to end. Like, I knew Tommy was going to throw a pick in the second half on a deep pass that he maybe shouldn't have thrown because I've seen him do it so many time before. Worst part is that it always seems to be on first downs.

Defensive playmakers always used to bail them out. Now, with no playmakers on D, it's all on Brady. BB put it on him to win the game and he and Faulk couldn't make the play.

Bill you really should have punted the ball instead. ( just a PUN on ur name)

Indy the best??? No. Cincy/Chargers/Patriots are better imo

we really screwed up tonight..... It was our game to lose and we did just that.

And why was this a tight close game because we "choked" away a once-insurmountable lead. We didn't go toe-to-toe, we were beating them up and down the field for 46 minutes, but we couldn't put an end to them.

This game should have ended with us winning by at least 10 points, at least that's how it used to be.

Why do you think that is? Poor play calling? Poor decisions made by Brady? Not having faith in the new guys on the team? It has been bothering me as well that when it comes down to these situations we cannot pull the win or the 1st down or the TD when needed. One will never know what BB thinks and I still have all the respect in the world for him. Just wondering why this seems to happen.

it is 4AM.... I am still jacked up on adrenaline/ caffeine. I cannot sleep. :(

Ironically those are probably the two most trustworthy guys on the team.

We should have all been sleeping like babies. Next Sunday.

That stinks. It's 5 PM here. It's been a long ******* day.

long long night for me too...bad loss...

and i'm still procrastinating on this paper... 0pg's of 3-5

all I can think about is that damn game!!!!!

I gotta get this done..... have a "good morning". I know I will not. I'll be getting **** all day about the CHOKE.

paper is due anytime today.... Time to start it.

I'm out.... It will really piss me off if we lose more players to "Random" injuries because of this game.

I think its just the little things, the things we never did before: penalties, red zone turnovers, not making critical third and fourth and shorts and in the two previous losses to the Colts, dropped passes. In this game, several things could have changed the outcome.

I really feel bad for Maroney because he seemed to be having a decent game until that fumble. He had been on a good stretch the past few weeks.

Anyone else feel that Adalius is useless and has basically worn out his welcome here? I tend to have more faith in TBC and Ninkovich getting pressure on the QB than him.

If anything Belichick learns from this game because you know one feels worse about this loss than he does. All the criticism he hears this week has got to fire him up.

Half 9 in the morning here and I haven't even got close to sleeping. Going to take a while to get that loss out of my head.

"Become" chokers? This team has always been this way, even when they were winning super bowls. They can never close anybody good out. Sure, they can beat scrubs 56-10 and 59-0, but put them against a good team and no lead is safe.

SB36 - Rams score 14 points in the blink of an eye
SB38 - Blew a 21-10 lead
SB39 - A 24-14 game became 24-21, luckily McNabb was puking

Just once I'd like to see them beat a top tier team easily.
